Maybe this poll will point out the popular, reliable dealers for all the newbie scooterists! Calling all Dawgs, lets hear from everyone. ;D

Hey guys, My vote went to ScootersFactory simply becuase it is where we got our scoots from and it has been a very positive experience, and I have followed mostly favorable posts here on the Forum concerning them as well. I am sure there are similar stories for all the above from different Dawgs. Tom

I got mine from nationalonlinescooters.com. Sieg was great, the scooter was great, the minor warranty claim was quick and painless(cracked plastic on trunk lock-new one in TWO DAYS delivered!) and I believe the Lance dealers go through scootersfactory since the box on mine was marked "scootersfactory". I think scootersfactory is the Lance distribution center for the U.S., located in Califronia. My girlfriend just ordered her scooter from him this week. His prices are a couple hundred cheaper than scootersfactory for the scooter model we bought.

I got mine from Gio @ scootersarecool. He made me the best deal, was there when I called (repeatedly) to ask questions, and even followed-up after the sale to see that everything was good to go. I couldnt ask for more.

Bandit Motorsports should be on the list. They contribute to this forum and several of us have bought their scooters and had very good experiences.

robvious: I just found about your dealer and they are a S/F distributor just a little ways from us! They seem to be top notch. I am keeping them in mind for parts, etc. Tom

Bandit-motorsports.com is a b&m dealer as well as online, and they are tops. I own a roketa mc54B, and they have given me a lot of good advice, and when I sent back a part, they sent me a new one right away before they had received the one I sent back.

I could not get a 'vote' to register, probably one of them thar hanging chad thingies, hmmmmmmmmm had no idea Scootdawg was in Florida!! ;d OK, I cast my Opinion, as I can not get it to register a vote for www.scootertronics.com. Very simply some of he finest people I have ever done business with, honest to a fault, worked very well with my requests when placing the order, after spending a LOT of time discussing my needs and desires... installed mods on the bike, got it as good as they could make the little beast, and shipped it ONLY after discussing the 'final product' with me to make certain I was getting everything I wanted. Since I bought the bike, the money I spent for the prep and 'enhancements' have definitely demonstrated that every penny was well spent. Just can't say enough about these fine folks, I know I have had a minor issue, the phone does not always get answered as I would like, but every message I have left has been answered pretty dang quick... I can live with a great dealer if that is my biggest 'issue'... erin2004, thanks for getting this thread started, I hope that it will really help all of us. I want to encourage any and all that read these posts to support the GOOD GUYS... not making any suggestions on who that might be, but do help out the good guys that work hard and try to do the right things. We can't have too many good dealers can we? Patronize the folks we want to see tomorrow... don't throw away money, but it you can, send your biz to the ones that need to be rewarded, this is a cut throat business, and so many thieves are out there surviving only by slashing prices to get a sale, it really hurts the honest ones on the 'big ticket' sales. Personally I will spend a little extra if it adds to the success of the folks that really are making the effort to help us... only fair as I see it.

Haven't dealt with an online dealer worth a hoot as of yet. 1st scooter was from scooterdemand.com 2nd scooter is a vog 260 from atvdiscounter.com My Atvdiscounter experience so far has been pitiful, I really wish I had bought an MC-54 from another online dealer. Beware of ATV Discounter. I'm posting my experience in -Scoot Dealers Good&Bad- Soon

I bought my 2008 Lance Duke Touring 250 from motorxtremes.com and I don't find them listed here. Mine came with no air in the rear tire, a brake fluid leak from the rear pads unit, the rear detachable trunk was missing and two weeks after ownership the speedo cable fell off. Good thing for me I can fix almost anything. When I could contact them, they said they would send the trunk and replacement brake unit. That was a while ago with no response from my e-mail requests and they don't answer the phone. A quick e-mail reply would be quite easy. I am still waiting for the MCO papers so I can register it in CA but they aren't late yet. Anyone out there bought from motorxtremes.com? So far I am not really complaining but I sure would like to get an e-mail and perhaps hear from others. PS; The mirrors aren't worth a flying burrito so I ordered the 10" 8mm mirrors from Heeters for $16.95 each

I just voted "Other Website" and have to add MrScooters.com to the list... THey were FANTASTIC! Mike was very nice, easy to talk to... And delivery was very fast, Delivered on Friday, Paperwork on Monday.. Didn't have to request it, and give a vin, it was automatically sent. Which I find wonderful! Shipped USF, and they delivered it damage free, ALthough, don't tell my wife, but I brok a piece off the panel that goes along the bottom during PDI, I dunno what you call it, but think of a rocker panel on a car, anyway, I snapped a small piece off, you can't tell unless you look under the scoot, so noone will ever know, cept me.. dang it... Oh well..

Yep, I'm with jimkdaadtman, I had a lot of people tell me "NO, DON'T DO IT!" when I sent the cashiers check to Mike at MrScooters.com. Seventeen days after he got the check I've got my scooter and my paperwork! Good Job!

Vote for MRScooters.com here as well. Mike has treated me fair so far, and even though it takes a day or maybe two at the most, he will reply to emails and even calls - usually at night though.

Can a poll be made listing a bunch of dealers and you can put a +1 or -1 for your experience with total number of votes for each dealer?
Currently if one of the above dealers has 4 votes, that's 4 people that got good service but there may be 40 that got bad service....

crducky:
I ordered a GS-R 150 from motorxtremes a month ago. Took my money in a flash. Their promised day of a tracking number came and went. Now they have not answered my emails and, as you said, they don't answer the phone! I just sent yet another email, but this time I abandoned my nice and tolerant tone for a business-like demand for their response and questioning whether they even truly exist!
I also indicated that I am about to lodge a dispute with my bank regarding this purchase. You give your faith and money to these people and they can't even return an email!?! It's not that the order has lagged, it is their lying and lack of response that has me at wit's end. So, instead of scooting, I'm writing rants on ScootDawg.
Worried and frustrated.

I'm wondering out loud about buying from Amazon. They have a number of Roketa bikes on their site, plus some others. Even when they go through outside vendors they do stand by their customers and will refund your dough if they should.

They operate out of the back warehouse of a carpet store here in Oklahoma City. They said I can stop by anytime, just call first.....I might forget to call first ;D

Even when they go through outside vendors they do stand by their customers and will refund your dough if they should. Amazon.com carries 24 different Roketa models by my count. Amazon is certainly NOT like Ebay where if a scooter dealer gets bad feedback and they get their EBay account yanked, the dealer just creates a new EBay account again and starts over. If a scooter dealer gets enough bad feedback on Amazon and gets their account yanked, they won't ever sell through Amazon.com again. Some of Amazon's prices are pretty high, but others like the Bali MC-13 for $1390 are pretty good.

Treesoup,
Have you contacted your bank, MC, Visa, Paypal, whatever, to find out what your options are?
You might want to do that in case there is a time limit for a dispute claim.
If there is a time limit, and the dealer won't respond to your attempts of contact, you might want to begin dispute proceedings before the time limit slips away.
I received my Heritage 150 today - 8 days after ordering it. I will put the front wheel on and do the PDI in the AM.

Surprise, surprise! I got home today and there was a message from the trucking company to notify me and schedule a delivery. Oddly, it sounded like she said it is from CSU(?)motorsports. Could have been CR2motorsports. Anyway, after being ignored by motorxtremes.com for two weeks, the scoot arrives in the area unannounced! Well, I hope they do better than this with the paperwork.
