On a positive note i just bought a new scooter from Matrixpowersports.com i got the Phantom 150cc and its not a bad scooter, once you clean up the sloppy fuel lines and vacume lines.
I found them online and im in CA and i found out there main showroom and warehouse is 30 mins away from me. I struck a pretty good deal by calling them and acually picking up the scooter instead of having it shipped, and they were very friendly and looks like a decent operation. They have been in there present locations for years and years which is a good sign.

Warning! Beware purchasing anything from TAIZHOU CHUANL MOTORCYCLE MANUFACTURING CO., LTD / Longbo America and Rick at MxMotorsports. Please do your homework. I have filed complaints with the Attorney General Offices of PA, FL and TX as well as the Federal Consumer Protection Agency against all of the above mentioned groups. The charge is that they are selling scooters with false or counterfeit Titles and VIN numbers. Please feel free to contact me. Skip email: pciinc@ptd.net. Cell ph: 717-286-3937

I just ordered a Motorino Supremo 50cc from Valley Scooters yesterday! I went with them because of some good stuff I've heard here, and honestly a lot of other on-line dealers didn't have the scooter I wanted in stock. John @ Valley seems to be a good guy. I called and sent e-mails a few times to ask questions and he either answered the phone or return e-mails pretty fast. I'll let everyone know how it goes!

ok I have no idea what to think at this point. I guess I will start with the fact that a lot of these suppliers/website/businesses no longer exist. A few still have websites but the scooters they have posted are for the most part no longer being produced for sale in the U.S. and some are discontinued completely. To finish up this madness it seems noone here agrees on who to buy from any more than yahoo answers did, and this is seeming like a big waste of time. I live in Alabama where I only have one option for buying at a brick and mortor type store, and the lady trying to sell me a scooter told me I did not need to worry about getting a motorcycle endorsement b/c she had been riding her scooter for years without one, and the other guy was drinking alcohol while talking to me, it really doesnt seem anymore reliable than buying online at this point. Anyone knowing of a reliable REAL online scooter store in the year 2012 that actually sells scooters that arent discontinued models plz help.

I have been trying to buy one from Valley Scooters... Heard some good things about John. The bad thing when I called to ask questions about the scooter I wanted, they did not know what it came with.. ie whether a trunk and windshield was included.. So my feeling is Im not going to put out money for a scooter that i dont know what comes on the bike.. That would be like going to car dealer to purchase a car and did not know if it came with mirrors or tires... Shame cause all the good things that are on here about John.. And I sent him a couple of emails asking about this and he never responded...

Another interesting thread to bump into.... for me i.e. at this stage still being new with this forum. I will soon give my vote which will end up at or with the rest that voted "Others" coz those listed dealer names/sources are unknown to me to begin with. I will disclose the one I thought is worth mentioning in here which was my one next stop where I recently place my scooter order. On the online orders, my experience was a recent one coz it was only decided in the third week of March, last month i.e. to have a scooter for a particular reason. In our country which is no exception to many other neighboring countries, we have alot of online dealers who can and also, cannot service but will redirect your service attention to affiliated contracted dealers within a nationwide network. I thought that is cool but not after clearly posing the many queries that I soon realized, they suck BIG time despite offering cheap sales to undercut the rest!!! I won't buy or fall for that kind of arrangement, its still money I can afford but let me be the judge of my own expenses and not become a duped at my expense so they can profit without the expected service quality expected of them. It works well if YOU are an ignorant as always consumer or that you may well serviced efficiently on yr own ... that's the situation but if one wants to depend on a service source for all related issues with confidence & satisfaction, the online purchase on scooters is NOT a reliable source unless they have a workshop structured & included within too. The online sources I could buy slightly cheaper offers shady answers and far from complete to put me at rest hence, I drove around after selecting 8 brick & mortar scooter dealers to pay a visit and see, compare just how good they may be B4 I select my choice. Eventually, I checked out 4 dealers that were out of town and found the ideal shop which is conveniently close to my place and that too is a plus-point besides the fact that they offer pick-up & return service for FREE... this only applies within a radius of 15km in view of distance, time and petrol costs etc. My dealer is called, Cheapscooter. Its a franchise chain made up of young entrepreneurial men who are all involved with the sport and racing with bikes & scooters at Nat'l level. This means, they know what they are offering with their products and offers 2 years guarantee. Online live support (during office hours) is also on hand. That's fine with me. So far my experience with them are great and positive. other website [******************************] (73 votes, 76.8%)
