I throw bonez to all who are contributing to this thread. I think it is Fab ! I will throw in what ignition fits in the 2007 JCL MP 250 A Linhai scoot. Cause looks like I'm gonna need one. Boy, did Killermotorsports see me comeing on this scooter. This thing is turning into a career instead of a fun money saving machine. Got to fix it to keep it from turning into a TOTAL waste of money.

May I add, I replaced the starter clutch on this same JCL MP 250 A scoot (in only 800 miles). Please if this ever needs replaced on yours, Pay particular attention to what you are buying. Out of three Ebay vendors none of them had the correct starter clutch for this engine. "But" by looking at the add it looked like they had exactly what I needed. Only upon careful reading of the add I found out it had 57 teeth (but had pic of 49 teeth part). That is a Linhia 250 ATV engine starter clutch. Not a Linhai scooter starter clutch. The scooter motor takes a 49 tooth starter clutch (wich is what they have a pic of) . The price is nice too on the ATV starter clutch I might add. Which will further lure you into buying one of these wrong starter clutches. BUT SORRY ! The only correct one I found for the Linhia 250 "Scooter"engine was at Absolutelyscooters. Another vendor carried it but it was out of stock. Both prices were in the $80 range to my door.

Hey, somebody post more about the windshield thing. I have a new 250B with OEM windshield and wouldn't mind a larger one if it didn't cost a king's ransom.

Regarding the spark plug, here's a part of something I just posted in another thread:
Wanted to change out OEM plug on my new Roketa per general PDI recommendations. Chinglish owner manual said G7HSA, couldn't find any reference to that on line but there was a C7HSA that is for ***SOME*** 250cc Chinese scooters, so bought two of those thinking it was maybe a typo.
When I finally got around to attempting the work, found that the C7HSA takes a 16mm aka 5/8" socket, but the OEM plug needs a larger socket; my best guess was 17mm. Invested in a set of deep metric sockets as the one that came with the scoot "tool kit" is garbage. The socket set goes 10-11-12-13-14-15-16-17-19-21, so which one do I need? Ri-i-ight, the 18mm!
Jerry-rigged the cheap OEM socket to the point where I did manage to get out the OEM plug, only to find that (1) it was already an NGK so might not have needed to be replaced in the first place, (2) but not a G7HSA or a C7HSA, it was a DPR7EA-9. Not even remotely the same as the C7HSA, larger thread diameter and thread reach, and of course calls for an 18mm socket.
