Ordered new Halogen headlamp bulbs from Roketa for my MC-54-250B . Received #12728 S2 Philips Duplo 12v35/35w . Same bulb is used in some Projectors. These bulbs are common and I've located a few sources that sell them $1.99 to 2.99, which is cheaper than the $7.00 each that I paid. Just Goggle (#12728 S2 Philips Duplo 12V35/35W) for sources.

I have a question for those of you that ordered LED tail lights for your mc54. Did you get colored bulbs (amber, red) or white? I know the lens in the rear compartment are already colored, but I'm wondering if the white LED's are so bright that they may wash the color out and appear as white.

lyle067 - I ordered both and tried both. The colored ones were the brightest and most visiable.

Hugh, thanks for the reply. I looked around several LED vendors web sites and discovered they recommend getting bulbs the same color as the lens. Your experience shows they are correct, so I ordered the colored ones.

That is a different fuel pump for 25 bucks, not the same as the large one mentioned. Wait til you price the same fuel pump at the Honda dealer.

Previously I had scored some inexpensive headlight bulbs for my 250 from the www.lightbulbs.com internet store. The light bulbs are actually 35/35w projector lamp bulbs amazingly enough. But they fit great. Albeit the OEM bulbs are pretty nice as they are Philips brand 6235 bulbs, but of the 25/25w type. unfortunately the low beam element on the left bulb popped, so I had to pull the front panel off to get to it, of course. Fun stuff there. www.servicelighting.com/EiKo-48056-6235B-B-35-Miniature-Incandescent-Light-BulbEIKO 6235B. At the time of this posting the bulbs were selling for $1.99 each.

scootertronics carries high performance and stock parts for both the CF Moto CN250 enigines and the Linhai/Yamaha engines as well as windshields for Honda Reflex plus clutches variators weights carbs plus exhaust I do believe we can cover the engines in all scoots pretty much up to Burgmans and Silverwings, started adding T Max stuff this week as well as for Kymco scooters also performance, replacement windshields belts clutches The DR Pulley clutches and bells are best performers, simply lowering roller weight to 10 or 11 on Yamaha designed engines adds performance, Polini makes 8 rollers a pack also Malossi makes 8 packs.

Have a linhai clone 257cc engine, Standard plug is a NGK DR8EA and Champion cross is a RA6HC. Bought 2 from advance for 1.49 ea. and now using in my scooter, no problem.
The cross number is correct as the heat range is same, number says 6 but crosses to 8 on ngk. @the diff. brands do not have same heat ranges as numbers show. Don

So what is better. The Roketa MC-54B or the Tank Touring 260 DE. My son is 20 years old and thinking of buying the Tank for the cooler design.

Greetings Dawgs!!! Quick Question: Does anyone know if the Roketa MC54-250 (nonB) Main Cable Assembly can be replaced by the the Main Cable Assembly for the Honda Helix? If not, does any one know where I could get a reasonably priced Roketa MC54-250 (nonB) Main Cable Assembly? The one on National Online Scooters was WAY high at $141 - I think I saw one on www.roketa.com for $60, but I am not a dealer, so there is no way I will be able to get anything from them. Thanks, UrsaPolaris

I have a 2008 Roketa MC-54-250B that has the front right shock leaking. Just wondering where a reputable place to purchase one is?
Thanks!

I found away to trick out the carb auto electric enricher needle, you simply drive a small screw of half inch long and bit wider than dry wall screw in to top part of the enricher(predrill a hole for best results) this will cause the inner cilinder to push out needle and then you just need to adjust carbs low idle mixer screw that sits under the carb you can use a flat head screwdriver drill bit will work to adjust the mixer if can get your hand to under carb and hold the the flat head bit and then adjust the low idle mixer. start by rotating the idle screw all the way in to the carb becareful not to over tighten and then bring the screwback out about 1.1/2 turns out, this will lean out the engine at this point the engine. You start the engine and let it warm up and ajust throttle and idle. some times you will need to readjust the low mixer or idle but if you do this right your enigine will burn lean and clean and adds more gas miles and not to worry about electric enricher any more. My 250 mc54b has been turning on with only one try every time and work great in all types of wheathers even with only with the remote. I can feel a steady idle and won't suffocate from the strong fumes of tail pipe. WARNING!!! BUT DON'T FORGET TO LEAVE THE ENRICHER UNPLUGED IT WILL BE SHORTED OUT AFTER DRILLING. AND SECURE THE WIRING!!! this remend worked for me and truely believe it's better than factor setting. I tryed this because i had bought not one, but two electric enricher and the trouble shooting continued the original went bad about a month after bout my scooter. my scooter will start and as it was warming up it stalled and it was hard to start the the second enricher I tryed did the same thing even when I adjusted the mixer/idler, So as auto tech, I if it not work well the hell with it lets give it a fix what can loss.
