Hi all,
Amazing diversity here on this forum!
I'm a biologist turned bureaucrat (federal govt) working on sea turtle protection. Still looking to buy my first scooter, and learning a lot about it in the meantime reading this forum!

I work at a major Strip casino as a room service waiter, although I am looking for something else because its been slow in my department, and I'm also an EMT-Intermediate for a local private ambulance service. A lot is going on, as I'm also going back to school to become an RN. I started scooting because of affordability, but now I find it so fun that I ride any time I get a chance, especially since the weather has been so fine in Las Vegas lately. ;D

I work as a stay at home mom. I have one daughter left at home.
I don't have many hobbies, other than the computer. So once I started scooting, I've got all of my hooks into it. I can't get enough. I love it!

Wow! There is some really great company here.
The first part of my life was hospital emergency room tech and pharmacy tech
I had my mid-life crisis and went back to school to become a computer systems design engineer.
I now work for a Fortune 20 company specializing in health care technology. We stop medication errors. I Believe I have prevented more medication errors in the last ten years than I did in my entire hospital career.
54 thousand people die from medication errors in the U.S. every year. That is like two fully loaded 747s crashing every week and no one noticing. My company is trying to do something about that. I am proud to be part of this effort.
I am also impressed with the members of this forum. Glad to be a newbie and part of this also.
The best part... I live in a place where I can scoot to work 95% of the year!

I work in a group home for persons with developmental disabilities. My title is Lead Advisor, or Advisor 3. It's kind of like assistant manager. I am responsible for purchasing groceries and household supplies, keeping track of the residents' bills and money, maintenance for the home and vehicles, and a few other things. I also work three 8 hour shifts and one 2.5 hour morning shift each week as direct care staff, helping the men with their daily routines, medications, etc.
It pays horribly, but has other rewards.

Andre - I'm a Toronto based custom design landscaper. I build waterfalls, do custom indoor-outdoor landscaping interlock, natural stone and exterior tile, etc. My company is small in manpower but big in experience and well-equipped for complete property re-builds. We work in all weather which is why I feel riding is better than driving - I'm already dressed for whatever mother nature plans on throwing at me anyways!

I am the livein caretaker for a dog kennell. We board over 150 to 200 pets at a time... I love animals and also volunteer with a local rescue group. My job is kinda hard to explain. During the day I work in the office but by night, I sort of play doggy "housemother" to the kennels furry guests. A work day can consist of everything from filing ppw to giving a dog insulin shot to dog bathing to answering the phone. I went to college for graphic design but this is where I ended up. Strangely I really enjoy my job, so I guess I am not doing too bad
