Hi Dawgs, Here is a COMPLAINT from WARBOAR21: All he did was order 11G Roller Weights From SCOOTERTRONICS BEFORE XMAS: Alleyoop I am waiting for the sorry SOBs at Scootertronics to get off their hind ends and do their jobs. I know it's the holiday season but they are open and they gladly took my money but they have yet to ship and are dodging my phone calls. I would have ordered from the other store but they were out of the 11g at the time. I keep getting the girl at Scootertronics telling me I will receive a phone call from the owner but have yet to hear back from them.
I am sorry to unload but I am a bit frustrated with them at this point. A company that does business like this will not remain in business long. Not in a market place like today.

I di dsome research, imagine that me doing research!
Just for the heck of it I re-ran my BBB report, searched under both my B&M store name and my website, which is the same report, to my surprise I have a rating of A even though I am not accredited business with them. Now they wantalmost $500 to become accredited, I think I will pass on that.

Well I ordered from GreenEarth last week and was planning to share my experience but they informed me today by email that I cannot register their scooter in PA and they canceled my order. I guess I should consider myself lucky that they didn't take my money and send me a scoot that I couldn't use. I guess you can put that as one more thing on their website that ya cant trust. So if you live in PA dont waste your time ordering from them.
That sounds like good customer service right there. I'm not from PA but I've read on this site that PA has some strange rules about what you can register there. I'm sure there's a lot of companies that would have gladly sent you a scooter and take your money.
Like I said I consider myself lucky they didnt take the money and send a scoot I couldnt use. Im sure theres a few companys out there that would have. Of course on the flip side is if it was posted on the website in the first place I wouldnt have wasted my time and thiers ordering it in the first place.

The Znen scooters we sell are approved for PA as well as the Linhai Yamaha ones. I like your scoots! Especially the BMS lineup. I like the attention to detail, like a larger fuel tank and tach that are hard to find on most online scooters. Definately worth the little bit extra you are asking for your scoots. Im gonna wait until I get my tax return before I buy my scoot but your definately in the #1 spot for now. So you will probably be hearing from me in a month or so. Now I just have to decide between the Znen King (green=sexy), Sabre Tooth, and the Pathfinder.

Yep Math Club Guy,that is exactly it.I now realize what one sees in person that seems so obvious does not easily translate into a electronic representation.....my bad.I over reacted which I am infamous for,I apologize.I'm sure you get requests from people all the time that are unwarranted, your caution in approving a claim is understandable.I was in a hurry to get both my wife's scooter and mine up to speed at the same time hence the urgency.I just feel better that some knowledgeable guys see it too and I wasn't having a flashback from the '60's.The tire is long gone even though I asked the installer to save it so I had begun to question it myself.Let's try and forget it,it looks like you may have sold a few scooters out of the whole debacle...I hope so anyway. As was said by the Time Gaurdian in the original Star Trek episode: The City on the Edge of Forever....."all is as it was before".Kinda. I applaude you sir for coming back a realizing that it was hard for all to see this problem as myself thought man I'm either blind or this guy is crazy!! LOL That's what makes this forum so great is folks figuring it out and then working it out! Now all see that there was indeed a problem and myself I for sure learned to look harder and maybe on someting like this folks can try to do their pictures in a way that is easier to see just like you mentioned! Glad you have a good scooter and I'm sure all is going to be OK in the future if you need something from the company!! JRR

I have nothing to do with this battle. I've moved on, Leon is a Piece of sh!t and Rich you defend him to no end. Whatever It does not affect me. Amazed they are still up and running, screwing over dealers the way they do in my opinion. I still think you have a piece of interest in that company. Sorry, I honestly don't remember, but if your opinion hasn't changed, I guess I must have won that one Oh how very clever. Did Chris write that for you? You must be suffering from selective memory again Rich. We won that one since our scooters are as good as yours and cost less than half as much. Also the mechanics servicing them charge less. Chris who? Selective memory? No, I already told you, I don't remember the thread. If you're calling me a liar, that's just wrong... edit, 11:25pm: Ah, I found it, Chris is user name 1smf. I see now! This must be your friend and the reason you're in this conversation as a shill... now I get it! First off, they were not selling Flyscooters on-line, you're just full of misinformation aren't you? Secondly, the Znen scooters they were selling were a different build with a different warranty. And finally, there were dealer incentives in place, but since you have no insight to the original business plan, I guess you wouldn't have a clue as to the marketing structure, would you? Excuse me? When have you ever known me to not answer a false statement? Are you really this ignorant, or do you just like the game? The fact that the site is still on-line is absolutely none of your business! It is not deceptive - it clearly states that they are not taking orders, and once Leon gets the final deal worked out with Znen, they'll most likely be back up. Until then, this ridiculous point you're trying to make is futile. There is a big difference between displaying a logo of accreditation falsely and having an informational website. The reason I know you're a shill is just that - I can only imagine what you would say if it were Flyscooters displaying the false accreditation logo! Apples to oranges... you can't compare intentional false advertising to a website that says they're closed until 2010. Why would I do that? The BBB on-line seal is purchased for each website you do business with, it's not a blanket approval for any/all companies, nor is it a BBB approval/membership. It is simply a seal you purchase for every website you own. Trust me, the webmaster knew exactly what he/she was doing when they put the seal up, or else it would link to the BBB corp on file, wouldn't it? So how about the Yahoo 5-star rating... shall we talk about that one now as well? FYI, it's also a false seal... You really are clueless aren't you? (Yes, I see a pattern there!) ;D Quite good at twisting words as well! I guess you mean when I said I would trust John over (whoever) in another thread, right? The other guy was an unknown, and John is known on the board, all I said was I would trust John over him - I never endorsed anyone, nor would my endorsement really make a difference. I have personally only ever ordered from ATV Discounter and CF Moto on line. If you really want an endorsement, go with CF Moto. Now, as to your statement that I'm "out to discredit Green earth", you're 100% wrong! What would I have to gain by doing that? I have no interest in ANY on-line business, nor do I want any right now. Actually, YOU are pushing the issue with your ridiculous apples to oranges comparison and making this a whole lot more than it is with all of your suppositions. I simply stated a fact, and no matter how you spin it, you can't change that. Keep up the conversation with your idiotic BS about a website that has nothing to do with you or the topic at hand and you are one perpetuating the issue, not me. -Rich

Its been over two months since I ordered and received my 150 from GES ... I have just hit 100 miles - since I only am at the location it is stored every 3rd week. The scoot has stayed together well for the 1st 100... I had two issues with the scoot once it was up and running.. 1. The mirrors did not present a usable view from behind - I was too tall for the proper adjustment - I placed a shim in the back of the mount to angle it down - but still not enough view. 2. The turn signal switch would work intermittently and then not cancel out. I called and was transferred to service/parts immediately where we went over the problems. I tried the solutions they offered but they did not work so that evening I emailed my results. I received a reply saying that replacement parts were being shipped immediately. They were waiting for me my next time at that location..
So what do I think ?? Well, the scoot is not as refined and smooth as the Vespa at BJ's Wholesale for $3499.00 The fit and finish is not as good as the Honda Metropolitan at my neighbors.
But the style , size ( excellent for 6 ft - 225 lbs) and build quality are way above what I expected from a 2008 Chinese Scoot....
The price was incredible, $789... The delivery was quick and professional - the customer service both before and after the sale was spot on.
I see the bantering about this company on the site - I am neutral - but they have done 100+% by me...
P/Bob

Personally I would stay away from these guys. I ordered from them and then they cancelled my order saying the scooter would be unregisterable in PA even though it was not listed on thier site. Several days after the order was cancelled I got a bunch of unauthorized charges on my card from various places that have sales on the internet. Either they are crooks or they have someone working there that is. Just look at the web site. False Yahoo logo, false BBB logo and rated a "F". Definately BUYER BEWARE!! Do yourself a favor and spend a few more dollars and buy from one of the reputable sellers.

Of course it's been established that I'm a shill. I recently had my Chase account hacked also after buying things off the web. Hackers can get your account number by tapping your cell phone, cordless phone, hacking your ISP and any number of ways off site from the original seller, up to and including the transaction between the credit company and the seller. After we reported the theft to the local police they told us three other cards were illegally intercepted in our area in the last two weeks. When you report yours see how many have been illegally hacked recently.

if you do not want to discuss this with me, i totally understand but if you wanted to assist me in my quest i'll take the help lol

The only problem with sharing any info is it might hurt any investigation by authorities. All I can really say is I got lucky and seen the unauthorized charges almost imediately and reported them quickly to the banks fraud unit. I can say they were quick to react and will probably save them and me from loosing the money. If the $ amount of the fraud is high enough you might get to see who it is as the Feds drag them out the door.

Please explain what actually your doing to investigate credit card thefts? And one BIG SUSPECT Question is WHY is a PARTS GUY doing the investigation? Did you call the authorities and let them know? Because if you didn't and if anyone of the people that got ripped off gets a lawyer YOU personally will be in deep DOO-DOO. Who do you think will be looked at as the suspect. Does the owner know about this? Is he doing anything about this? Lots of questions and no creditable answers.
Just an F.Y.I People are NOT STUPID. Alley

Your reply's have this desperate run-around type of vibe to them. Honestly, I don't think there would be any reason for you to be doing ANY type of information gathering if you didn't have a reason for it. And your reasoning you just listed just doesn't really make any sense.
"I have a lot of free time, and no better way to spend it?" Are you serious? I though you were working triple duty doing ALL types of odd jobs, on TOP of your normal job? no? I have a friend in the business and he NEVER has ANY free time.
"it is not information that is discussed with me, i came across the whole thing by happenstance" I wonder why it hasn't been being dicussed with you. Are you ALREADY a suspect? how did you come across this issue again?
"it's cut throat, and brutal. businesses pop up and are gone in the blink of an eye. caring individuals in this racket are more rare than pink ferraris, and its my personal goal, even as a lowly parts guy, to take customer service and warranty claims seriously, and when customers, or potential customers get ripped off, i get mad." I don't see what that has to do with anything. We arn't talking about parts, customer service, or warranty claims here. This sentence is smoke and mirrors, and its distracting from the point.
"what would you do? turn the other way and pretend it didnt happen!?" I wouldn't be defending myself, unless I did something wrong.
''we live in a world of "not me" and "let someone else do it". well, i'm someone else." Yes your someone else, but this is a serious matter. "parts people" don't do criminal investigations.
Then the fact that you responded AGAIN, before anyone replyed to your first post is suspicious to me, since your now your refusing to talk about it anymore.
Honestly, if I was a detective, right now you'd be the first suspect on my list.

Folks, themathclub as far as I can remember has always tried to be responsible and has always tried take care of his customers. I believe he was just trying to do something to help. Even as a parts guy, perhaps if he knew who had problems, he would be in position to know if a particular sales person handled all the customers that had false charges on their cards?? I'd think that would be valuable information to take to a boss that might not really care enough to research it.
I myself was the victim of credit card theft a few years ago, somebody spent about a thousand dollars on a hotel bill in a mid eastern country, another person made a charge in London, and still a third person made a charge in the State of Maine. I reported it and was told "we don't really investigate these," it is just too much trouble. The charges were reversed so I was out nothing, but still a couple thousand dollars of false charges were done with nobody getting into trouble.

After Mathclub admitted that they had some security issuses the big boss probably told them to stop posting here. My bank stopped all but $56 of the unauthorized charges and they ate the loss on it. On a good note, I bought a scoot from Valley Scooters and Im very happy with the transaction. Maybe the greenearth people can call them and get some pointers on how to treat customers. ;D
