I thought I should mention these guys because I haven't seen them on this forum yet.My wife decided we needed scooters so she found these guys on line and I said go ahead.I knew NOTHING about scooters, but I do ride a Vulcan 1500 Classic all the time. They have a limited selection but the basics.Order went well, arrived on time in a week, free shipping, total cost for each Bashan "sport style", 150cc(157QMJ) with trunk $799.00.That seems about on a par or a little cheaper than everybody else that drop ships.Of course no instructions or paperwork but they did send a couple somewhat helpful PDF's when I asked and the MSO's when requested.I muddled through the assembly and start up mainly with y'all's help.In fact, the tech guy told me to go to Scoot Dawg!So business as usual with drop ship I guess.Until I discovered I had an obvious bad front tire.It actually has a bulge on it that shakes the front end.Long story short, they've did everything they could to not send another tire.It would cost me more to TRY to get them to replace it than just buy another. They are obviously instructed to avoid sending warranty parts.Would I use them again?Probably not but I've read worse horror stories on this forum.

ohhhhhhhh. I have talked to sicily 2 times today and have been given the old we will call you back shortly, never to be called back. So now I am looking around for the next company to call after if they do not give me a straight answer by the end of the day. Was looking at you guys and americanmopeds. I wanted a 150cc in the $700 range. Looks like you are trying to get rid of some 08's huh? is that MP07 really $730 or is there some other charges in there that i won't see till i finish checking out?

Well,I thought this was a forum to just post buying experiences and not start a discussion, guess I was wrong.I sent a picture with an obvious defect on the tire to Green Earth with a good faith verbal description."J",I called and around here taking a tire off and putting it back on is a mounting fee,$25 to $50,you've been in this business long enough to know that.So am I really supposed to do that to see if I can try to get a new tire?I might as well buy one which I did.So it sounded like a dodge and that's what irked me,maybe I mis-interpreted.I will say you were very nice on the phone and helpful several times prior, but this event was disappointing. One other thing while I'm at it,how about Green Earth including some assembly instructions in the crate or even just some web links?Same for the DMV paperwork.I was completely new to this and ended up with a machine in a crate and an exploded diagram. Why did I have to request PDF's and ask a boatload of questions?I know you don't run the whole show around there so the original post was not directed at you, just my impression of the whole buying experience.Rich Carman

I ordered a 150cc scoot from greenearthscooters.com Monday morning after I canceling my sicilymotors order last week. Monday afternoon I received an email from tstubbs telling me that he saw my scoot out back running and it will be sent later today (Monday). Late monday received email will shipping information. Tuesday morning I checked the shipping company's site and apparently my scoot is in TN (heading to VA) and has an estamated delivery date of Wednesday. This is a 100% improvement over the lack of phone calls I received from sicilymotors. I ordered a black 150cc Biella www.greenearthscooters.com/detail.cfm?id=424

Scoot got here today. It was in pretty good shape. Only scratches were that the very end of the grips, a little scratched up from the crate rubbing on them, and a little paint chip on the top of the handle bars. Started PDI, doing it by myself, this is my 1st scoot in 15 years so a lot of learning. Got the front all done, tire mounted and screws remounted with thread lock or silicone.
I called for help and got TheMathClub on the phone, apparently the spacer for the front caliper was missing so they were closed, he suggested prying them open with a screw driver. I did that while he was on the phone, and as soon as I mentioned that I think I scratched them up he said he was sending me new ones. He also mentioned he had some other grips, but I forgot if he said he was sending them, or he was waiting for me to ask for them.
I do not know if I got special service because TheMathCLub knows I will be posting on this forum, or if they normally treat customers this way, but to be honest, does it really matter?

That's the trick. With any chinese manufacturer, the goal is as many units as possible, as fast as possible. They will strip bolts, nuts, and leave out screws and all kinds of stuff. We don't have too much problem with those kinds of things, but it does happen. My Biella had a seat bucket stud stripped, I "chased" the threads with a new nut and viola, good as "new". Ours are TONS better than the BAJA brand ones I used to prep/sell at Pep Boys... yuk

I've never understood why so many on-line dealers use only stock images for their product. I see their purpose to a point, but a few pics of a scoot in a driveway on CL has more credibility these days. At least you see what you're getting. Take the MP08-150 MP3, for example; I think I might like it. - Is it really available in Green?
- What do the trunks look like?
- How 'bout that dash - does it have a tach?
- Are they really that nicely painted or is the nose actually the plain charcoal plastic like on so many Longbo LB150t-12's floating around?
- Is the floorboard really aluminum?
- Nice exhaust. Is that the one it really comes with?
- Who's the real manufacture?
Even a few simple photos of the scoot in the crate would carry more impact than a stock photo. Anyone agree with me, or am I being overly picky? Sure I use pro-photography, manufacture-provided pics on my own site, but at least they're of the actual real product with real people using it. How about some more photos, GES?

Actually, EXCEPT for the splash (main page) pics, all the other pics, me and another guy here took. I will take the suggestions when they let me stop selling, and roll them back onto the stage here for more pics. I am trying like mad to get our web designer to swap out the main pics to ones we have taken in order to eliminate the obsolete colors/schemes. I will be happy to take any other pics and email them in the meantime. Also, the only one with the charcoal nose is the Renegade 50. The rest are gloss

Put 22 miles on her in the last 3 days, running like a champ. I just received UPS package containing grips and brakepads, and about 5 miles of packing paper I also filled out the form for my MCO today. I want to preface my next statements with the fact that my only scooter buying experiences were buying a Honda 14 years ago, and the disaster of ordering from the scam artists at sicily motors.com I ordered a 150cc MP-07 from greenearthscooters.com (GES). The website said $729.99 and that is exactly how much I paid, $729.99. I ordered it around 10am EST Monday morning. Later that after noon, 2:30pm, I received an email from Trent saying that he saw them out back running my scoot and crating it up. At 4:42 I received an email with the shipping tracking number. The bike went out the day i ordered it. The delivery guy (Old Dominion Freight Line employee) was a nice guy, carted my scoot into my garage and helped me remove cardboard and bubble wrap to make sure scoot was in good shape before I signed for it. PDI went semi smooth (using Big Guy's PDI) considering I am a computer enginerd and know nothing about engines. I had a small prob with the brake calipers being closed due to lack of spacer, but I called GES up and J told me to pry them open with a screw driver. I told him I think I might of scrapped the inside of the pads so he sent out new ones (see previous posts). I also had some questions about this bowl screw thread locking thing so J sent me some pics to help with that and adjusting the carb. Today I filled out the online form to get an MCO sent to me and within a couple hours I received an email from Amanda (never talked to her) stating "your MSO and BOS (Bill of Sale) is complete and will be dropped off at the Post Office later today. Since mail has already ran for today. If you have any questions feel free to contact me." I will have to say I would rate all my transactions with greenearthscooters very high. I can honestly say the level of service I received from GES is equal to if not better then any transaction I have concluded with any online store (i.e. Newegg.com). As I stated in an earlier post, I do not know if they treat all of their customers like this, or just me (I did talk to them 1st and told them this was Dinky when ordering) because they knew I would post on this forum, but to be honest I do not care. Thank you Trent and J. Dinky

After reading the posts I have decided to also try GES of my scoot..On Monday, I placed an order for the MP8-150 MPS - I also have a small window with which to receive the scoot , so I paid the extra $29 for quick shipping... I live in Cape Coral, fl , 1 week out of the month and with the warehouse in Texas , I figured that gave 9 working days to get to me. I made 5 email contacts with questions always getting an answer back within 30 minutes - excellent - and 2 phone calls were immediately answered. Today I received a notice that my scoot is on Old Dominion and is currently in Mississippi... Great service so far..... we will see the progress..and I will update later in the week - I am shooting for Monday delivery if all works right...

I'll be looking forward to seeing your scoot. What color did you order? Post some pics. Until I get brave and order my own, a virtual uncrate and PDI by proxy is still all I can do. **sigh** I'm sure other Dawgs will enjoy it too. Have fun. Keep us posted. Still waiting for a few more answers from GES: Is it really available in Green? How 'bout that dash - does it have a tach? Is the floorboard aluminum or rubber? Photos show both. Nice exhaust. Is that the one it really comes with? Who is the real manufacturer? I think they're good lookin' scoots. This is their MP08-150 MP3 2008 model. I've not seen this color combo anywhere:

I've not seen this color combo anywhere: Yes It's available in green, No Tachometer Floorboards are rubber on most, some alum's mixed in there Yes that exhaust comes with it The manufacturer is Bashan Aeronautical, Imported as Peace, Which is incorporated with bashan, not just a distributor. Bashan makes a really solid engine. Very low failure rate and a rockin warranty. I personally don't really like the MP-08 because it is a older design. It's not a bad bike, Just do a THOROUGH pdi on it. And I know its fast. Ask themathclub, he has video of him pulling a monster wheelie on our warehouse parts MP-08 with no fairings.

I received a call on day 3 from Old Dominion saying that the Scooter would be available for delivery on Friday, I requested Monday which was no problem.. So actually to the Southeast - 5 days is possible..Great shipping!!
Now - I keep reading that the 08 is an older style and the PDI must be attended to very carefully!!!! Ok Ok - just what in particular are you referring to to pay special attention to?? I am OK with tools but not super mechanic ..ish... and the thought of snapping off the plastic covers insert pieces is a bit concerning.. So what should I look for?? By your comments I assume there are certain areas that are a problem.. There were no newer 150"s in the style I liked hence I bought the "older style" but heck - great price and the shipping and responses have been awesome
just rambling - piratzbob...
Oh and I bought the silver and black

i agree with CordovaTech about the stock photos, etc. maybe it's a sign of our times. buying something sight unseen is one thing, but not even seeing a genuine picture of what you are spending $1000-2000 on just seems wrong. i bought at killermotorsports.com and they had lots of picures (it looks like they were taken by killer) of the real bike i was buying. made it a little simpler.

Service update So if you read my 3 noob questions thread you know I had a bad battery, if you didn't....well.... I had a bad battery. themathclub from G.E.S. read that thread and told me to get it checked and if it was bad, to call him up. I went to the local auto parts store and it was indeed bad. I called G.E.S. on the drive home and he got it sent out the next day. I got the new battery today and got to rid 10 miles today. I just really wanted to say themathclub has really been great for warranty service. On a side not, I heard a weird noise from the front tire yesterday load clicking, come to find out, all 3 of the screws that connect the front disk brake to the wheel were loose. I got home and put some thread lock on them and cranked them down tight. There is a slight squeaking from front caliper (it has been raining non stop last 4 days, and hoping that is normal) that goes away with the slightest pressure on the brake. Other than that I have been trying to find any reason I can to ride my scoot and love it.

Man, i'm so glad I finally came across this thread... I've been looking for a month now over all the different brands, and mainly want to know at least I can talk to someone if something's wrong. Greenearthscooters.com was in the middle, and I was just about to actually order from Sicily instead today, but then I found this forum... Should be calling you tomorrow for an MP08 150 MP3 ;p

Disaster today!!! As I got ready for work this morning, I fired up the scoot, rolled it out of the garage, put down the kickstand to close the garage door and it rolled forward off the kickstand and fell to the left. Got some scratches on the left under the handlebars (about 4 inches long) , and scratched up my new grip DOOOH!! But I did get a cheap Chinese scoot so I wouldn’t ruin a $3,000 Honda. The weird part is although it fell to the left, the right mirror snapped off at the threads. Looked at mirrors at scoot part site and they were all 8mm, am I safe to assume my mirrors are 8mm as well? But at least I learned a new lesson today about always using C stand if engine is running.
