This scoot is awesome...like Cookies (Tom) said.. After we uncrated the first one.. Which is LITERALLY 99% assembled... gassed it and took it out... WOW.. what a ride. Like he said ....CFMoto hit a home run with this one!! I would DEFINATELY put it up against an SYM or whatever in the 150cc class no trouble!!! Engine is Super smooth... crack the throttle and hold the hell on... No hesitation and accelerates like a bat out of hell. For that price... nothin can beat it... no question

Dude, I'm lovin it!!! The instrumentation, the sick headlight (gsx-r anyone?), the whole things looks of great quality! I like it, even if it isn't the cheapest thing on the block, it seems like it will do well.
I'll find out this week when I put through the first sale. Although, I'm hopefull that this will pass with flying colors. CF Moto's were one of the only mfr's that had their "sh*t together" when it came to this debacle. Every CF Moto we sent in to Harrisburg was approved in record time.

I want to thank you Cookees for posting this thread. If it weren't for you, I would not have known about this scooter. I made a call this morning and spoke with your buddy at Hyproscooters. He is going to let me know if he can ship the scooter. After driving all winter, and the amount of fear Northern Virginia has with snow, the amount of salt they put on the roads even when it doesn't snow, has damaged a lot of my chrome. I decided to upgrade to a higher quality scooter for regular whether conditions, and use my current scooter for the bad whether conditions. There is a dealer in Florida that is selling it for a steal ($2,099) and the owner is also going to let me know about the shipping. Thanks again Cookees and a bone for you.
Thanks Shoei1, Mike told me you spoke. I've already emailed CF Moto to see if it's a violation of our dealer agreement to ship a fully prepped scooter. I think it boils down to how far you are from another authorized CF Moto dealer.
After reading this thread, I decided to order one last week and it was delivered by the dealer last night. I haven't had a chance to give it a full test yet, but I am very impressed with it so far. This weekend should be perfect weather to give it a full review. Here are some pictures.

I took a 50 mile ride today in beautiful weather, and WOW was I impressed. One of the most impressive things was when driving at 50mph at 1/3 throttle, I was able to quickly jump to 1/2 throttle to about 62mph and pass a crazy driver that was in front of me. Because this was my first day to give it a fairly good test, I didn't not to go past 1/2 throttle during the ride, but the response was just incredible. Both the take-off and going uphill was far beyond I have ever experienced on a scooter before. What's even better, are the brakes. Both front and rear disk brakes do not have anti-lock, very responsive and no locking. My other scooter's rear brake will lock very quickly, so it is very nice to know that it would take quite a lot to lock them up. The best feature is how smooth the ride is, and that must be attributed to the 14" wheels with dual adjustable rear shocks. Even with the scooter being very light, it was very steady at 60mph(although the speedometer read 70mph). The other main thing I wanted to test today, was the radiator. After 50miles of averaging 50 to 55mph and weather at 70, the electronic temp gauge did not go past 3 out 8 bars while sitting at one of the traffic lights for a good amount of time. And while riding, it didn't go past 2 bars.
Last night I took it out for a short trip to 7-11 and couldn't believe how good the lights were. They are even better than my (4) 55w that are on my other scooter. But the one thing that bothers me is the emissions container is placed dead center in the storage box under the seat, leaving hardly any space for storage. I am either going to place it somewhere else or just get rid it all together. Overall, this scooter is very well built and worth every penny and even the horn was very loud. Since you get a 2yr parts & labor warranty, this should have no problem doing 50k.
This looks like a great leap in scooter technology. Just one quibble, and it's the same one I had when I looked at possibly getting a fuel injected eCharm last year.
Couldn't they have found some place other than the underseat storage area to put the Emissions Container? It seems like that location defeats the whole purpose of having a storage area, both from a perspective of greatly decreasing the available space, and by a concern about something bouncing around down there and possibly damaging the container.
I am not sure what the designer was thinking when he desided to put the emission container in the storage box. It must have been the last part, because that was just a BAD idea. I will figure something out, but will probably just get rid of it.

marklorenzi: I just bought one of the Fleetwoods. They look like a clone of the Honda XRM's they sell overseas. It is in transit now and I should get it this week. I will try to post my experience here. Call me the guinea pig hahaha.
