I just hit the 500 mile mark on the odometer after taking a 50 mile ride yesterday, but noticed some errors on the dash this morning. One of the great things about the Glory is there is an error message on the dashboard with a long list in the owners manual that will explain what the error is. The light on the dashboard will flash a certain amount of times, and the number is on the list to tell you what is wrong. Well, it flashed 15 times before is stopped and in the manual that number says:
ERROR TYPE - FLASH - FAILURE DESCRIPTION Error-Fanr-SC - 15 - Short circuit of fan relay to battery positive terminal
The other light that showed up on the dash was the oil indicator. I replaced the oil and have it filled-up, but the light has not gone away. The manuel does not describe what the means, just says Engine Oil Indicator in the manual. Since this is under a two year warrenty, I may have to bring this to the dealer to have both things checked, although I would rather do it myself, but then I will loose the warrenty.

This is actually a service reminder with first 500 km oil change. Please take it to the dealer to have it checked out.

Thanks cfmoto!
The reminder of the 500 km oil change, does that include the 15 flash error message or is that just the oil light message? Thanks.

Thanks cfmoto! The reminder of the 500 km oil change, does that include the 15 flash error message or is that just the oil light message? Thanks. This includes the 15 flash message. It does this around 500km first time, then every 1500km after that.

I have a scooter that lools excatly that this one, Moto Bravo 150cc, got it last year in June for $1000.00. rode it all summer and part of winter parked it outside my townhouse as i had no garage. It sat for 6 months and when i started it , it started right up, i jumped on it rode it for 4 hrs and it works fine. Nothing has been added to this scoot just regualr oil changes and transmission oil changes. Love it to death. Eveything is orignal from when i bought it.

Has nothing to do with CFMOTO. Air cooled. May look similar, but no interchangeable parts.

I like the looks and the features. The Piaggio Fly is a great bike, whose innards are made by Zongshen(http://www.importgenius.com/shipments/zongshen-piaggio-foshan-motorcycle.html). Its air cooled and carburetored cars. It's MSRP is $2899. The Sym Fiddle is a 125cc Air cooled , carburetored, scooter and is thought to be one of the better scooters out there. Its MSRP is $2598. The Kymco People S150 is a 150cc Air cooled , carburetored, scooter that is thought to be the standard bearer. Its MSRP is $2999. The CF Moto Glory is a 150cc Water cooled, Ducatti fuel injected scooter on 14 inch tires wheels. Its MSRP is $2699. So yeah, I'd say that the Glory is in with some pretty good company. Think of the Hyundai sales model. Offer a "fully-equipped" vehicle at a bare bones price.

As I understand it now, an EFI has to be water cooled to control conditions for injection;is this correct anybody? Yamaha Zuma 125 is air cooled. Doesn't seem like YOU are making much of a research effort!

Error Message 14. I bought a 2009 Glory a month ago and the flashing lights started immediately. The dealer said he went over the scoot and there is nothing wrong with it and that the Glories have a quirk with this message coming up all the time. It runs fine, except for needing 2x's to start when cold. Is he right or should I take it somewhere else to be looked at? Thanks

Not in the shop today but I'll check error 14 when I get in tomorrow. Biggest quirk we've found is that if the battery terminals are not tightened down with a socket, they will vibrate loose and throw the ecu an eratic signal, causing error codes.

Thanks Cookies and Skuttadawg. I appreciate the help. I'll definitely check the battery connections. By the way, since this is past its warranty do you know how to disconnect the cali emissions thing under the seat? Like everyone has said... it's in a really bad position and I'd like the extra room.

Thats a vapor you need it and it does nothing to perk it up with it gone . The exhaust has a catalytic convertor in it so an unrestricted exhaust will help and with EFI no rejetting since the ECU makes adjustments on its own

i actually removed the vapor canister on mine and the main difference i noticed was that now it now has instant startup. also i can fill my trunk now with an 1 1/4 thick cable, half helmet, homemade gps bracket, gloves, rain jacket etc... its extremely easy to do.

i also have the efi. its easier for the efi as you dont have to run a small filter for the carb.

i also noticed (or in my head) that the scoot seemed to have a faster build up of revs(acceleration). i thought it was just me but a friend who rode the scooter before i did it asked if i had made any upgrades because it seemed "crisper" than before. people might say it makes no difference but it seemed to, although small,on mine. Now i know why the major jap. companys didnt want this thing in the states, it flys!
