ooo nice! Even with the $100.00 price increase on all sccoters. If you pay by check or money order the cost is less then before todays price hike! Well on scoots costing over $1000 at least.
Mrs Cooters must not like being gouged by credit card processing charges.
And if you consider how slamed they must be as a small operation. All the processing, service, and support calls they must be spending hours a day on. I'd hate to let my hard earned cash go to some automated processing company too.
Come to think of it. My company doesnt accept credit/debit cards at all. And I dont think we put up with 1/4 the harrasment during a bussiness day Mr Scooters has to

Hi all. I placed an order a week ago and am in the high 290's. I was told that my scooters would ship yesterday or today at the latest. Has anyone got a tracking number from them or even the direct line? Mike called me and the number came up on my work phone, but I didn't get a chance to write it down before the display changed.
From what I have read, MRScooters sounds like a dropshipper from China that you eventually get your product from. He was very pleasant on the phone and has returned emails promptly. In reading the other threads on the topic that was locked, I felt comfortable enough to order 2 scooters from him using a credit card.
Any success stories would be lovely!

I'm pretty sure they are out of CA, not China. Area code is CA and address to send MO is CA. I have cert. mail receipt signed when sent to CA so I'm sure they are there.

Thanks GoBlue. I was told it would ship yesterday or today at the latest and I guess I am antsy to get a tracking number. Someone called me from my credit card company and said they are doing a merchant review on them - so that made me feel a bit uneasy, despite the positives I have read on this site.
From what I can tell with 2 weeks and a bit of patience and you should get the scooter. I read on the other posts how to dropship/become a wholesaler directly with Roketa, and I do agree that is probably what they are doing.

Firebuster -
I'd suggest emailing them. They get back pretty quick, usually after hours. I emailed them this morning regarding tracking # and expect to receive a response sometime tomorrow morning. I've found it to be hit or miss using phone.

4 emails today, 4 emails yesterday, nothing back yet. Why so many emails each day? without a response to any? I just send one, and they answer it eventually, usually it's within 24 hours.. I have had one that didn't get responded to for about 32 hours.. But that wasn't too bad... That's 8 emails, how much time between emails, I could send 4 emails tonight from 8pm until 11 pm, and then another 4 tomorrow from 6am until 8am, that's 4 today and 4 tomorrow, but they wont be able to read them until tomorrow evening probably.. so I wont get a response until tomorrow(thursday) evening or real early in the morning on Friday.. Don't take this the wrong way, it just seems your being a bit impatient.. I dunno, but if I sold you something, and you bombarded me with 8 emails within a few hours, you wouldn't be exactly my favorite customer... And that doesn't even count what the content was.. but if your saying stuff like "Why haven't you responded yet, this is my 4th email, and no response yet.. This is very bad customer service" I definitely won't be jumping to answer your requests... Just human nature.. Your busy, your stressed, and someone is yelling at you because you haven't answered them quick enough.. They may not run the same hours you do, They aren't open 24 hours a day, with people sitting at phones and computers waiting for your call.. All I'm trying to say is please be patient... I am sure they will get to you in due time.. As a matter of fact, you could try to call now, 1-805-298-0813 I usually get through pretty easy at this time of day.. JimK

its true, just try to calm down. Ive only emailed him once, and it took over 48 hours for him to respond. Just be patient and he will get back to you. All drop-shippers are seeing pretty big delays, so dont start flipping out if it takes a couple of weeks for your order to ship.

I have never heard of a merchant that couldn't do a manual call in if the CC machine was down. Furthermore with the volume these guys do their credit card company should be getting them back up in a matter of hours. Sounds fishy.

From what i see about this website they are just an online company correct? They sell all Roketa stuff which i heard a lot of their scooters are out of stock right now. But yeah understand online companies sometimes cant control whats in stock or what not till they ask their distributor about color and models. Its up to them to give them the answer.

I have never heard of a merchant that couldn't do a manual call in if the CC machine was down. Furthermore with the volume these guys do their credit card company should be getting them back up in a matter of hours. Sounds fishy. It depends on who's credit card processing service they are using.. Lots of people can't call in manual approvals, and even if they do, so what, That isn't going to charge the card, that will only give them an authorization number, meaning that the card is good for that much at this time. Then they have to mail in a hand written charge slip with signature, can't do it for online purchases. online purchases, must be done electronically. most places use a processing service, which supplies software allowing them to charge the credit card.. I myself, use paypal as my credit card provider. I cannot call them if my credit card machine breaks and start charging over the phone. I have to get my stuff fixed. Also, If I start getting a large amount of charges in a very short time, the credit provider will put me on "review" to make sure there is nothing illegal going on. It doesnt mean the credit card company knows they are crooks and is waiting to bust them. It means they sold a crap load of inventory, and are required to be checked out to make sure they aint drug lords.. JimK

No and I received an email Saturday saying scoot would ship Tuesday, tracking Wed. I emailed them on Wed and again yesterday and no response yet. It obviously didn't ship Tuesday. Going by what all have said, these come from Ontario, CA. Well, I am a 3-5 hour drive from there so if it had shipped Tues, I'd have received it by now. Plus I've called several times Wed and Thurs and no answer. I hope my premature praise of this company was not misplaced. I'll keep you posted.

I received this response yesterday....
"The order will still ship this week. Container was hold for inspection at custom before, where it just now release. Sorry for delay, where we do want business to be upfront and honest truth with no run around. Apologize and appreciate."
I dropped him an email yesterday and will wait for his response. If I hear nothing by Monday, I will call my CC company and go from there....
Jim, You already got your scooter from them, right? How long did it take?

Why would you be calling your credit card company if he is at least communicating with you about the shipping delays, etc.? These things are out of his control since he is a drop-shipper.
Just as long as he is communicating and being honest about the delays you will face, shouldnt that be good enough? No other drop-shipper is going to be able to get you your bike faster, since they are all at the mercy of Rocketa/goldenvale.
We all know this company had a bit of a rocky start in terms of communicating with customers, but just as long as he is still taking his lesson from that early experience and being upfront with his customers (as seems to be the case from his email to you), he is still OK in my book.
That being said, I'm also waiting to a reply to an email I sent yesterday, but just as long as I get a reply within 36 hours, I'll continue to be OK with MrScooters and defend him here as a (seemingly) legitimate drop-shipper with some of the lowest prices on the net.

I miraculously got through to them on the phone during business hours! The lady on the phone even remembered my order because of the specific instructions for delayed shipping. Said Rocketa now has plenty of the MC-54 150cc in stock. So far so good with communication. We shall see if it actually ships on time as planned.

Well, Sandman, my CC company already has contacted me asking if I placed my order for 2 scooters and has notified me that they are in the process of investigating Mr Scooters. I told them that I felt comfortable with Mike at MrScooters and that I had no reason to believe that I would not get my scooter since others on this forum have. I still have faith that I will get my scooters next week.
They asked that I keep them informed, and that would be the nature of my call to them.

They asked that I keep them informed, and that would be the nature of my call to them. Oh, Ok... I just misread your post and assumed you would be calling them to initiate a chargeback, which just seemed a bit premature to me. Sorry if I jumped the gun. As far as your CC company goes, I suppose I can understand why a CC company might want to keep an eye on a new business that has probably charged over a quarter million dollars in the past couple of months, but I think you were right to defend Mike... other than some poor communication, and shipping delays, I havnt seen anything that would keep me from buying from him (in fact, I DID buy from him). BTW, he still has not charged my card, just as promised - no charge until the scoot is ready to ship!
