order 407. I only put it together, then changed gear and engine oil. I checked all screws and they were tight and the fuel lines felt ok. I might replace them if i keep leaking gas though. Hope i get the MCO so i can start riding it. Helmets come thrusday. It took me 4 hours or more to do the little work i did on this hot day. I wouldnt even be near done with full pdi.

HA! my order # is 404, and I still don't have any kind of info on my order. what a gimpy situation! think I might send another e-mail to mrscooters. well, the more i think about it, the more upset i am getting. i sent the certified check, which should give me 24 hour order processing according to the website. Burster used a credit card, his order was a few after mine, and he already has his scooter. mmmmmmm, me no likey! UPDATE: had e-mail this morning from mrscoot telling me everything was processing and the scooter will ship today and he will send me the tracking number. Haven't been hateful with mrscoot, and I think that makes a world of difference. so far, i still have high regards with dealing with mrscooter, just getting anxious with school just a week away!

Rob - HELP!!! I went home and took off the 2 screws from the black piece over the bottom of the windshield. There is still 1 screw holding it on so I can't get it off either. I removed the other 2 screws that seem to be holding the whole front on. They were located on the bottom side, one on each side. The front would not budge. I just cannot get it off. Any help? I also removed the 3 screws that seem to be holding the dash in place. When they were removed, I saw that the tape player was involved and who knows what else, so I put them back in place also. HELP!!!

Hi Jim.. I thought about your method, but he assured me he would send them out priority mail Monday since he had to get them from Roketa/Goldenvale. I haven't received anything yet - and my clock it ticking.... I hope he mailed them. I tried to call and can never get through. I have faith in him though.... I know he will get them to me.
Should I really replace the fuel lines? I bought them - but it looks like a pain in the arse. Maybe I should buy the service manual thing... I wish it would show up in my hotmail.

HELP!!! Nope, you need to pull out all the screws on the left and right edges except for the flat head ones up at the top (by the guages and radio). If you installed your foot pieces, then you will need to remove those of course so you can get to the 2 screws down there, and the bright silver / chrome giant machine screw from the side where the bottom meets the front piece. It was easier to take apart than the MC54-250, the whole front piece literally bolts straight on.

well, it is now 1:30 AM est time, and no info from mrscoot on my order. west coast is 3-4 hours behind right? anyways, i would hope to see something around 2-2:30 my time, or else i will start to lose some trust points on mrscooter's end.anyone know of a huge demand on the 68A-150? haven't seen too many people on this forum talking about this style. oh well, shop on-line and enjoy the wait i guess might as well go smoke and try to stay up a little longer to see if i get any info. wouldn't surprise me if the dang thing shows up and i never get any info. HAHA!!! i guess i am a little miffed cause mrscoot rec'd my money on the 14th, the scooter is "in stock", so why haven't i rec'd the free 24hr order priority and the thing shipped out? fireburster paid for his on the 12th i think, with a CC, and he now has his scooter (albeit a different model). so IS the 68A in stock, or is it floating on the ocean on the way to the states? and yeah, yeah, i know scooter dealers are swamped, but please don't tell me day after day the scooter will ship, the scooter will ship. was told Friday the scooter will ship, then told Monday the scooter will ship, then told Tuesday the scooter should have shipped, will ship out Wednesday and tracking info will be mailed to me. Well, now it is Thursday morning, and still waiting to see something. oh well, at least i have time to figure out some names---if red, i will call it "Vlad" after Vlad the impaler. Silver--The Silver Menace. If black--The Black Baller!!! ;D ;D ;D

anyone know of a huge demand on the 68A-150? haven't seen too many people on this forum talking about this style. That is probably exactly what is happening... it is a newer model, so they probably don't have as much stock as something like the 54... I know it is frustrating, but hang in there... you'll get it soon. But no way will you be scootin' to the first day of classes, unless you get lucky and receive your MCO quickly!! Im still waiting on mine...

ok, fine. if there is a short supply on this model, then tell me!!!!!!!!! don't keep stringing me along. why can't the drop shippers see this causes more people to get pissed than if the dealer were to just say up front "this style is on back order for a while, you wanna wait or get something else?" does the dealer really think by telling a person each day "the scooter will ship" this will make the customer happy? wrong! a little bit of honesty and being up front makes a huge difference! sure, you may lose a sale or 2 for people who can not wait, but the majority will think "wow, an honest dealer not trying to BS me. if they are honest about the wait time, then they will probably go to bat for me with any problems." and I realized I would not have my scooter and paperwork by the time school started, was just hoping to get most of the work done on the scooter and have time to practice ride a bit before the paperwork got here and before mid-terms and stuff like that. anyways, i am STILL waiting to hear back from mrscoot, even sent a follow-up email (again) this morning early. and no, i haven't gave mrscooter the rantings i have posted here (yet) because I am trying to keep a positive attitude in my emails so he doesn't think "oh boy, here is that guy who was screaming at me in the last email" and just push my email to the bottom of the pile. fireburster--i gave up a long time ago on getting any kind of update through the website. i guess i am one of the few cust. who is not having the fast experience with mrscooters. crap sandman--i started a new thread asking if anyone has this model (and added another ? asking if anyone knew if this model is in high demand right now) and have not had one post to it, although a few people looked at the post. HOT MONKEYS FIGHTING OVER THE LAST BANANA IN THE JUNGLE!!!! looky here folks!--Ship out on 8/19 by SAIA Freight just rec'd this info a few mins ago. have the pro # also. NOW I can rest ;D ;D ;D

Drop shippers aren't the only online dealers of motor scooters. The pain you are feeling from buying from a drop shipper is that they are working from a state that's likely a completely different state than where your scooter will ship from. They have no clue when you scooter will ship because they don't work anywhere near the shipping facilities. This also means they have no idea whether stuff is in stock or not.

well, checked the Saia website and my scooter left TX at 8 this morning. expected del is 8-26, but i think it will make it early next week, this scooter is moving fast!. now the wait is on for the delivery. gonna call the local terminal and make sure they have my phone # for the delivery. ;D Talked to the terminal and they said the scooter could make it by Tues (possibly) wooohooooo!!!!!

Congrats... heres a bone to chew on while you wait.
The extra delay might be because it came out of Texas... I think most of the people (including me) who have had really fast turnaround with MrScooters had our scoots ship out of the Roketa warehouse in Ontario, California.

When i got my saia tracking number it was on sat and it was in my town and there was no way to call someone so i could go get it sat. Now you just have to wait a little bit more. Good to hear though its coming!

That is certainly shady of SAIA to just dump it on your drive. USF Holland was excellent for me. The guy showed up with a big beaming smile saying 'Sir, I have a brand new motorcycle for you'. He seemed almost as pleased as I was. He even suggested I open it up and check it out before I mentioned it to him, AND he REFUSED to take a tip! Nicest guy I have had to deal with in quite a while.
By the way, paperwork showed up today... 9 days after the scoot... 6 days after it got mailed from Ontario, CA (but with a return address sticker for MrScooters in Las Vegas). I *heart* MrScooters.

Here's hoping my paperwork is in my mailbox when I get home, I figured it would only take 2-3 days to get here to eastern washington from CA or Las Vegas, but it's been it's been 12 days since I got my scooter, fingers crossed....

scootermcgee, I know what it's like to have to wait through the weekend for your scooter. Mine was at the terminal on a Friday and they made me wait until Monday to pick it up myself!
So, here's another bone to chew on over the weekend!

Hey McGee, mine "shipped" from Ontario (Fontana) on USF on the 5th of August and I didn't get until the 13th. It got to the terminal here on the 11th, but they didn't have lift gate truck available next day, so yours is moving fast. Great to hear that. Still waiting on MCO and emailed them last Friday and they said "MCO ships automatically". Was hoping it would be here today so I could get 'er tagged and could move off these two little streets in my neighborhood. Got 11 whole miles on it in the last week. Neighbors are probably hoping I quit running up and down the street or thinking I'm nuts. It runs very good, got it up to 50 a couple times, but the streets short, so don't want to press it.
You might just get it Monday, hope you do.

Hey Y'all just want to let everyone know SAIA delivered my silver MC 54-150 today at 11:30 exactly on time. The scooter came in excellent shape it had one little 1/4" nick on the edge of the faring,, was probably shipped that way. I did the PDI today and was very impressed with this scooter. After all the warnings and horror stories I have read on this forum, I was prepard for the worst, and was very much suprised at the quality of this scooter, I guess it helps to lower your expectations it's much easier to be pleased.
Scootermac..... like you I was told mine would ship last FRi. (order #385) When I didn;t hear anything I emailed them on Sat. They replied Wait till Mon. I let Mon. slide and Tue. got email with tracking # I checked the SAIA site and discovered it had indeed shipped Fri 15, from Fontana, it arrived in Atlanta and shipped to Charleston on the 18th, to my suprise the day they sent my tracking # it was already waiting on me SAIA was going to del on Mon so I contacted them yesterday and they said they would deliver today They did not have my phone so it is good to contact them and give them your #. All I can say is Mrscooters came thru with flying colors, I will certainly use them agian Thanks to everyone for your post, they made this process very enjoyable. Randy
