I finally got my scooter today Old Dominion delivered it But AGAIN no lift-gate . This time the driver helped me and told me to call their 800 number and tell them that this is the second time I paid for lift-gate and didn't get it and they would issue me a refund . Anyway the scooter arrived unharmed and in good shape It was all put together except for the windscreen and mirrors so that was a plus . It wasn't the SUNL I thought I was getting but a Hanma Sounds like Grandma to me but It didn't bother me at the least . In this picture You can see the stickers I ordered when I thought I was getting a Black or Red scooter . In the daylight you cant make out the 49 "DANG IT !" I'm probably going to order new stickers with a black 49 or I have some carbon fiber vinyl to make a new 49 with . Here is a pic of the whole bike Sorry thats where the pic ends Till I can find my charger for my camera . I added gas and of course it was being a butt getting fuel to the carb so I wrapped my lips around the fuel spout and gave it a blow into the tank . "VERROOM" started right up . I'm fairly pleased with it so far some of the body parts are not perfectly lining up here and there Ill have to wait till it gets warmer out and I can use me heat gun and mold some of the plastic back in place . I ran out of time today to do a tear-down and inspection but Ill probably end up putting in the house tomorrow and going over it really good . One thing I don't like is the under-seat storage the battery is in there and taking up my valuable space . I'm probably going to relocate the battery to the front of the scooter I see tons of space there . The last real gripe I have is when I sit on the seat it feels like I'm leaning forward . I may try and remove the hump on the seat . I believe thats what is pushing me forward . This bike is actually BIGGER than I thought and the seat sits very tall . I can put my feet on the floorboard and have no trouble turning the bars left to right they don't hit my knees at all . I put 10km on the scooter and it rides really great so far. I changed the oil after I rode it with Rotella 15w 40 The oil that came out started off clear then turned blackish looking . Well thats all for now if I get my cam working I will post some more pics and maybe some of the relocation of the battery . ;D

Good luck with that one. Mine is a SunL but the exact scooter. You will have fun trying to get anything lined up on it. Mine has just over 300 miles on it and the carb is shot.
You seat concern is the number one reason why I do not like my scoot. I am 5'7 and if I am not right at the edge of the seat to flat foot the ground. Also when riding I tend to slide down the seat.
I also thought of moving the battery. But where? One thought is to remove the airbox and all that plumbing and you could put it down there. This would give you some access to it from that center access to the aircleaner

Good deal. I am going to do the same thing. The really would free up a good amount of space under the seat.

Nice scooter, nice pics. But did you order a SUNL, and got a HANMA instead? Was that a bait and switch or something?

Cool. Hummm, it sort of makes one wonder if SUNL is changing their name to HANMA instead.

Looks like Hanma and SUNL are one in the same. The phone number 713-784-4888 on the Hanma website 204.13.154.16/is SUNL's warehouse in Houston.

still cant find my charger for the camera
I removed all the emmisions on the scooter and made a breather pipe out of a radiator hose
Im wating on a Unifilter supposed to be in after 4:00 today
I read some post about how removing the emissions stuff doesnt do much in the way
of performance .
Well I gotta tell ya it makes a TON of difference on my scooter
The only thing I did was richen the mixture 1/2 turn in
Take off is so much better I couldnt believe it .

250mc54 thats a good site
I modified my seat today I cut out the hump and smoothed it out and towards the back
and I added 1" foam to the top for a softer feel .
I feels so much better I might have to cut some more off and tweak it some more
but overall it feels more like a seat than a slip-n-slide
The vinyl is really cheap and thin
Im probably gonna wait till spring and get some thicker stuff maybe in a grey and redo it .

I got my first problem with my scooter but has been fixed.
It was the center stand was poorly welded and the spring tension
was causing the stand to hit the ground.
The stand stop was coming loose and making the stand go to far forward
So I welded a hardened bolt for the brace and repositioned the spring holder to make
the spring tighter.
All is well and Im happy with it.
I should get my 11g rollers in tomorow and will report on them.
One more mod I did was add a switch to my headlights
I figured why the heck do you need lights in the day time.
It should easily double the life of the lights.

Your headlight bulbs might last longer but your life may be cut in half!
Not trying to be harsh but we need everything possible working for us catching the attention of other drivers on the road. MANY studies have been conducted proving that on-coming vehicles with lights on are FAR more visible to opposing traffic and much more likely not to be involved in accidents.

I dont know if your lights are like mine, but I have two small bulbs in the same housing as my main bulbs. I wired in a switch to turn the main bulbs off, but allowed the small bulbs to burn when the scoot is running. This way I still have some running light, but dont burn the main bulbs until the rare time i drive at night. This also allows the stator to charge my battery faster. I also have an LED tail light. I found it at advanced auto parts. It came in a 2 pack for about 16 bucks, but works like a champ.

Besides the "see me" factor, it is a state law here in New York. You must have your lights on at all times while riding. I am a motorcycle rider also, and I have added lights to it so I can be seen. I suppose the money you save on headlights can go towards a nice casket should someone not see you and they drive into your path.
