Anyone had any contact with Allnew lately? I sent them a couple of emails - to thank them for the replacement stator they sent - and the emails bounced.
Maybe they are going through another metamorphosis. Gary

Hi Gary -
I too have not heard back from them this week. I did get an e-mail last Thursday ( 7/19) that a part I request was being shipped. It show up the next day. They too, sent me a volt regulator to try to resolve the battery not charging issue on my Roketa Bali 250. It unfortunately did not resolve my charging issue. I tested the stator based off the info you sent on to me and found 43, 45 and 0 VAC on the three wires coming off the stator.
I have sent e-mails like every other day requesting a stator and gasket. No response with one message that their e-mail server was not accepting e-mails at that time and to try again later.
Any success with your stator resolving your battery issue?
Joe

Hey Gary -
Just heard from Michael at allnewsports via e-mail. I tried to respond but their mail server is not accepting my replys. I will try again early morning.
They must get getting hammered e-mail wise if their e-mail box is full and not accepting additional e-mails.
Have a good one!
Joe

mln-
A lot of times I am sneaking an e-mail or two to them while I am at work or at 5:00 AM eastern time before I get ready to head in to work. By the time I am back home and spend time with the family, then get on the computer again, they are closed.
I have called at times with my cell, but sometimes they call me back darning the day when I am in a meeting with my boss! Ouch...
Of course there is always Saturday between the honey dew list...
Allnewsports has normally been pretty good in responding to e-mail with in a few days. The scoot still gets me to work and back on one battery charge so I am still getting a daily 70 mile ride in.
Have a good one.
Joe

I need help, please I just purchased a catalina touring 150cc from allnewsports and only had it 2 days and it won't start. I charged the battery, put gas in it checked the oil and made sure everything was fine before I rode it. It was fine all day then I put it away for awhile and now it won't start. We rechecked everything and can not figure it out, now I am freaked after I read all the problems with ANS. Can anyone help. I don't want to be out that money, plus I really enjoyed riding it for that little bit of time. Thanks.

Yup, that's the one. I think they've changed names a couple of times. But to be fair, until recently thay have responded to all of my emails promptly, and they have stood by their warranty and sent all of the replacement parts I've asked for. So really I have no complaints with allnew.

What name were they doing business as previously? Which one? Just depends how many names back you want to go. I am researching so this information is useful to me. If you could provide me with names they have used previously (as many as possible) it would be helpful. Thanks.

Google all the ph#'s on this page: allnewsports.com/contact.htmThen search the KS BBB site for all the ph#'s, the West St address, plus the additional business names you come up with. Let us know what you find.

Well I must be doing something incorrectly because I googled all of the phone numbers, including the fax line, and the only company name I came up with was All New Sports.
Then I checked all the numbers against the KS BBS and the only name that was returned was All New Sports. So I checked all the phone numbers against the national BBB registry and got the same results.
I also googled that West St address and did both BBB searches on the address and the only business name I found was All New Sports.
If All New Sports is trying to cover their tracks they are doing a pretty good job!
Does anyone know any of their previous names? It sounded like there were many but I can't find any.
Thanks.

OK... West street Wichita struck a chord with me. They've covered their tracks pretty well this time, all new phone #s and different address. Same family name for administrator listing for allnewsports site ond one of the sites with an earlier name.... Nguyen. Also allnewsports.com was registered as an entirely new doimain as of october 2006.... but the copyright notice on the bottom of their page dates back to 2003.... the year the first of the Winn/scooterdemand/BNSCOOTERS/National Direct Powersports sites were registered as domains. They keep moving all over Wichita... Scooter World in Wichita is another name they've done business under.

It seems like they covered their tracks but not quite good enough. Thank you both for the info.

It sounds to me like this guy is a flake. When you call website number to order parts or Scooter what name does the salesman say his/her name is? Is it Eric Wichman? What type of machine did you buy? Is it KMD or Roketa? Great thread.

I got the catalina 150 from ANS, bought it in oct 07. Now has over 1100 miles on it. had no problems ordering the bike, no problems with shipping to my door. I have not ordered parts from them even though the bike is under warranty. Nothing broke on it yet. Plus I'm not worried about the warranty, i can fix it myself and since the bike shops here are stupid and are well known to screw up bikes that are not purchased from their shop just so they can swindle you one of their bikes. The real reason I bought it from ANS for $1399 when the bike shop just down the street is selling the exact same bike for $3000. 100% exact same bike.

For $1400.00 you could have got a better scoot with proven dealer and distributor support. I wish you luck.

For what it's worth I bought a new drop-shipped MC54-250B from allnew at a great price and do not have a single complaint. Their phone is busy a lot is as close as I will get to one, but I get through when I try. I ordered online 4/1/08, received confirmation on 4/02/08, with a shipping date of 4/09/08 - it actually shipped sooner, 4/7/08. Received scooter in fairly perfect condition (one light switch defective on right handle) 4/11/08, well within their claimed shipping frame. Assembled and ran same day. Received MCO and sales receipt 4/18/08. No complaints. I will re-post after I request the new part to fix the switch, but it is a minor control switch I can live without anyway. I went in with low expectations for the price point and the reputation, and everything has been great so far! ;D It occurs to me that people who encounter problems may be motivated to post significantly more than those with no complaints.
I am very happy with the deal I got and the service from allnew so far has been fine.
They are having a very busy Spring this year, I think!

Had my Roketa 150 from all new for 13 months now used daily to get into work and has just clocked 2000 miles, aside from some initial problems with the vacuum valve which they replaced FOC( I also converted the set up to a gravity feed with a conventional pet cock) only other problem was a crack in the luggage rack after about 1500 miles ( resulting froma mall incuslion in the weld, this was sent back to allnew and was replaced FOC under warranty. the oil is changed every 200 miles and I hope to seat least another 3-5000 miles out of the little machine before I have to replace it. as I have noted a few timed before you need to go into this kind of deal with your eyes fully open you won't get Mercedes support and quality for Lada prices. you pays your money and takes you choice!
