Sitting for years? Count on the carb being at least gummed up, probably dried out rubber inside too. A new one is 30-50 bucks depending how hard you look. Does it have spark? Open up the airbox and try to get it to start while spraying carb cleaner spray into it.

I'll try that in the morning after that I'll check the fuel lines and then look for more advice THANKS!!!!!!!!!!

You pull the spark plug wire and put a spark plug in it hold the plastic part and hold the plug metal section against the frame and hit the start button and you'll see the spark....Oh and I did check it that way with the plug that's in it , the new one and the old one and the old one was good also.checking hoses now.

Thanks, just wanted to make sure ignition coil was working. When you cleaned carb did you adjust the air/fuel mixture screw? If not try this, turn the a/f screw clockwise all the way in until its stop, then turn 2 1/2 turns out (counter clockwise. that should be a good start point.

Did you try running it off of carb spray? It should at least act like it wants to start off of spray if it has spark.
