While searching the net to find a solution to a fuel pump problem ( killed 2 in 1 week. 1 ran for 1500 km, the other for about 150 km) i found out that some pumps are made for carbs that are lower then the tank and some are made for carb that are higher then the tank. My scooter is a YY50QT-21 made by Benzhou and the tank is located under the floor board. Apart from the fact that the pump could be of a very poor quality or of the improper type, what could cause my pump to fail?

Its still under warranty, so i ll let the dealer handle it again.
But i'm looking to go with an electricfuel pump kit if the problem dont go away.

Bike just got back from the shop with the carb all messed up. Dont know what they did to it but it was way too rich. Iddle screw was out about 4 turn and the needle was on the richess setting. Was the last time my bike ever goes to that shop. I ordered 2 of the pump you recommanded, thx. ;D On a brighter note i ll be making a 300 km round trip next week. I'll post pictures and map later on in another topic.
