What robbery on that oil-breather thing...it is listed at $100, and $50 for the performance throttle tube! Great reading, though!!

Kat, you are DA MAN, GOOD THREAD, this will help many not to fall for some of the stuff.
Think you for showing some of the MAGICAL performance SNAKE OIL PRODUCTS sellers try to push off on gullable folks. I try to point some of them out when a seller totes them, then a SHILL comes on and says they are the greatest thing since slice bread and his scoot can now do 90mph, but ask for prove and they cannot produce. They come back with are you calling me a liar, and to be nice to the SHILL you do not come right out and call him a liar, just tell them if you cannot prove it then it didn't happen. Wile

Wile, that's some funny sh!t. WOW people are dumb. If they only knew where the water comes from. I read an article a few years back and it was about the quality of a bottled water( I won't mention for fear of being sued, but a high dollar bottled water) and a certain city's water and the research found the city water to be purer!

So the cooling fans are a scam too ? It seemed it was lighter and or had more flow it would be an upgrade .
Would like to hear from anyone who tried the replacement fans

So you bought one huh. They really do very little reason is only so much air can come into the Fan Shroud. Some actually make it worse, now if you can get some COOL air to be sucked in then your doing something. So even if it was lighter what would you expect, not a damn thing. Wile

Raming air into the carb is fail. a real turbo rams the mixture into the chamber, but that only work if you have a computerizing sensing system that will ajust your admission automatically. Unless you go with an injector system, forget that air dryer bullsh!t.

Maybe try the racing wax on your skin/clothes for a few more mph

If it was lighter it would have less drag since its driven by the engine .
How about modding the vents on the shroud ?

I would say yes if it were lighter but if it were to draw in more air then wouldn't the extra air drawn in just cause more drag?

I know the clothes you wear can effect how fast you go and the handling like a flapping jacket has turbulence where one is snug flow is better. Heres another a 2T boost bottle wikiscootia.wikidot.com/boost-bottle if you read up for ann engine without reeds but 2Ts have reeds below the intake . So it may work without them or just be BS as I have never tried it

Not all two stroke motors have reeds in the intake. There are also piston port designs.
