Is the contra spring in your clutch same as the torque clutch spring Attachments:

The contra/torque spring has nothing to do with your clutch - it only provides resistance for your sliding torque sheave in the rear pulley. The clutch or "pill" springs control when your clutch arms swing out to engage motion to the rear wheel.
