I have read many posts where they used dif roller weights to tune the CVT .
Last night I read a post that one said they used roller and slider weights mixed .
I am really interested on how this setup would perform and has anyone tried it ?

Yeah I tried it. It worked without harm but I liked my roller set up better....three 4g's and three 6g's............ I tried three 4g sliders with three 6g rollers like I say worked but not as much range as with all rollers. Maybe if you went light on the rollers and heavy on the sliders you'd get different results.

Well the 4g sliders act kinda like 3g rollers, so that is a big difference there.

I use 4G sliders with 4G rollers. almost seems to give me a low gear and a high gear. I suppose it depends on the motor too though
