I have the same year and model too! Any scooter can fail there, mine did that. I paid $150 for mine after I got it running... might try to sell for 4-500. I have a few parts in it and a lot of lights on it but its a little ugly. I can't get the goo off from scraping off the decals, and I scratched up the paint in a few spots doing it. Also melted some off after following dumb advice about acetone...

about 1,300 miles now, about 1,100 of that was all me last season. It never let me down after doing PDI stuff. The one time I ran out of gas, I was turning onto my street  |

Post Delivery Inspection - there's a nice task/parts list posted around here somewhere. Probably 75% of issues with scooters (especially Chinese ones) can be avoided with a few hours of work. Inspect this, replace that... it goes a long way.
