You got a great deal. Mine got almost 120mpg when I first got it.. Than I started to change things and it still got better then 100 mpg.. It was a great little machine just did not have great brakes...
I would of not sold it if it would of had better brakes.. I still have parts for it... Hope you have as much fun on yours as I did mine... It only left me sitting once and that was not really the scoots fought. Bill

Descovery, If you take care of that scooter I always use synthetic oil and gear oil. Do not go down hills full throttle to see how fast you can go you could blow a ring or worse. If you run it real hard all the time you can blow a main bearing then you would have to rebuild the complete motor. I had so much fun with mine. I drove it everywhere I once made a 50 mile trip and still wanted to go more,, The first thing I did was to put a set of 6gr dr. pulley sliders in with a performance varator. Also you should get a kevlar belt the stock belts do not hold up well and will leave you sitting.. Bill

Here we don't have hills. Once i did 42 mph and that was all about it. I don't go over 20/25 mph. Scoot is used to get me to and back from work as alternative vehicle. Since this August we have to feed the meters in saturday. The scoot is great for parking. Thank you

Well if that is the case your scoot will last a long time.. If you have ETHANOL (alcohol) in your gas where you live becareful how long you leave your gas in your tank. We are having all kinds of trouble here with scooters and motorcycle fuel systems.
Also a very good thing to do is to change all your fuel hoses with a good quality hose.. The Chinese do not have good rubber hoses and you will see them fall apart with some of the little rubber pieces going into the filter and carb.. Just little things that I have had trouble with the scooters I have worked on and maybe it can help save you money and trouble in the future. I had to find out the hard way. Bill

Bill I think that only two gas stations have non ETHANOL gas and both are about 10 miles away, last time i checked. So far the scoot runs good. Should i add something to the gas to make it more stable or leave it as it is? Rubber is good as of last week, but i'll keep in mind to change them when i have time. Thank you for the advice
