Hey Environmoto, Do you sell these? Do you have a ballpark figure for the price? That site is for wholesalers, & I couldn't find an MSRP. Are 2-cycle 50 cc's regulated the same as 4-cycle's? In Minnesota, my 50 cc is regulated and licensed as a moped.

BTW, I'm 6'5", 320 lbs, 32" inseam (all torso!), and I like my Motobravo TPB (model type LB50QT-22). (See the pics below in my sig line.) I can stretch out and sit on the back seat, but usually I'm just fine sitting up front like everyone else. The seat itself cracked on the underside, but the crack is not in a critical place, and I don't expect it to propagate. However, the vinyl upholstery has developed a crack running lengthwise right up the middle of the front seat. This has happened during my winter riding. Obviously the seat wasn't designed to operate at -5F. (I'm thinking of using a colored duct tape to turn it into a racing stripe or something.)
I was really blown away by the speed this thing gets with my big self on board, with my high and wide torso to catch all the wind. It'll do 35 all day on a flat with no wind, and if I get up to 40 mph on a downhill, it will maintain that 40 mph on a flat if I keep up WOT.
On that website for ModCycles Corp that Enviromoto posted (http://www.modcycles.com/vx50.htm), if you click on "Our Products," select scooters, and then look at the Runner 50, that's my scooter. 10" wheels, one rear shock, very bumpy on rough roads (which pretty much means all roads this time of year in Minnesota). The same design is also available as a 150 cc scoot. (See the Runner 150 on the ModCycles website.) Most Chinese importers have a version of this model.
The tires, traction, and braking are all great, but given my high and heavy center of gravity I can't get the tires to skid, not even on wet roads. Instead it wants to stop on a dime and flip me over forward. Mine cost $749 shipped, & the dealer experience was pretty decent.

Wow...your scoot looks just like my Eagle Sporty 50. I am surprised you fit on there. It's almost too small for me, and I'm only 235lbs.
I've been wishing for a scoot with twin rear shocks.....that would definitely give you a better ride.

Here's the best picture/angle-view of this extended floor-board I've found. Apparently this floor-board is found on a limited number of scooters......and is definitely something to consider when looking for a 50cc scoot. I've yet to find one locally to examine however. Motorino Wasp/Supremo 50 cc

According to Valley Scooters, Local dealers in MO:
MISSOURI: City Limits Scooters Hannibal, MO Mueller's Tire Service Ste. Genevieve, MO Paradise Point Lake Ozark, MO
These dealers should either have a Supremo/Wasp or can get them.

^^^^^Thanks for that....but it looks like there's a change of plans. I got to check out a Keeway F-Act, 50cc. It looks a lot like the pictures of the Wasp, and a few others with the longer floor-board. Bad news....I don't have any more knee room on this Keeway than either of my two scoots (Eagle and Roketa). It looks like the floor-board is a few inches higher than most of these scoots.....which eliminates any advantage of the slightly longer length. Too bad.....the price was right on the one I saw today. Back to the drawing board.....

Hey Blue, did you check a Keeway Matrix. I sat on several of the Keeways a few months ago and i remember that one model was tight and one fit me lot's better. I think it was the Matrix that was bigger around the knees. They sure make great bikes and worth checking some of the other models.

Do the drop-down turn signals or throttle cable-bend jab your knees? How about installing some variation of outboard foot pegs on what you have? The Qlink Rave might be a candidate.

This last video.....see how much clearance that guy has between the top of his knees and the bars? I have no clearance to speak of. Wonder how tall he is? Yeah the turn signals do mash my knees when turning....the Roketa is better in that respect. The signals are of a flatter design. I'm in the process of removing the front signals completely.....replacing then with turn signal-mirrors. That will help a lot. And the throttle loop....not a whole lot I can do with it. I've tried moving it forward/backward by cutting off the location pin on the throttle assy, but it still drops down too much. Actually though....most tight/slow turns are to the left while riding normally, so the throttle loop really is less of a problem. Shoe mods....sounds silly I know. But I went and bought a set of leather riding shoes with an almost flat sole (no heel). That actually gave me almost 3/4" more knee clearance. I can notice the difference easily. Every little bit helps here. Extra pegs.....well I don't know about that. They would be a last resort. I've about come to the conclusion that I cannot rely on photos of these scoots to tell if I fit. Unless you can actually sit on one, you just don't know. That Keeway dealer I went to yesterday, didn't have all the different models in stock. He's also sells ADLY. I'm looking to sit on one of the new Bulls-eye models, that have regular motorcycle handle-bars. They aren't available yet. My local ADLY dealer is getting a new shipment of scooters shortly....and he's also getting one used ADLY he thinks might fit me. I'm waiting to see it. But no Q-link dealers around here I know about......

I cannot rely on photos of these scoots to tell if I fit. Unless you can actually sit on one, you just don't know. I agree! Many of the online images DO NOT show the supplemental front drop-down turn signals mandated in the US for the 16" separation requirement . . reference Table IV at very bottom of this pdf. Might be the reason the turn-signal mirrors are becoming more popular on US models.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the Andretti M50. With 16" wheels, it has a lot more legroom than the X50. I'm 6"2" with 32" inseam and weigh around 265, and it fits me great. It's a 2-stroke, and it hauled my fat butt around quite nicely on the 5-mile test ride I took. I got it up to 40 a couple times with more to go, but I didn't wanna run a brand new engine too hard, so I didn't push it.
Anyone in the Charlotte, NC area may wanna check out Carolina Fun Machines...Tim and Eric are great guys. They carry the Andretti-Benelli line, as well as CF Moto, Jonway, Lance, and Znen, among others, and offer good prices and great service.
I also just bought a CF Moto E-charm 150 from them, nice machine. And, no, I'm not affiliated with them in any way, just a satisfied customer.

Don't think I ever saw this one before......and it really does look pretty big in the photos. Not just the big wheels either. Andretti M50 A very unusual-looking scoot there.....thanks for the info.

I was pleasantly surprised by how well the suspension handled my weight, and it's so light that handling was very nimble, but not squirrely...just a bunch o' fun! If I could post a pic of the one I bought you could see the neat metallic gray-green color...really pretty.

Ok i went by the Keeway dealer today and was surprised to find that neither the F-act or the Matrix fit me. (i'm 6 foot). Was a bummer since i've had my eye on both those for a while. But he had a Peirspeed R50X. Great looking sport scooter with lots of knee room. In the second photo below where the handle bars are turned it is still a half inch off of my knee. It does not have as much foot room as my Vento but not too bad. It's a 2T with disc breaks front and back with 13" wheels. Quality looked like Keeway or Kymco and the sport bike look was great. I have a new scoot on my wish list ;D

^^^^That's the sort of information that's meaningful in this particular thread. While that scoot fits you ok, I doubt it would fit me. since I'm 6'4". I haven't found a scoot with anything other than a flat floor-board, that fit me. Still looking though..... I wonder if I should have included 150CC scoots in this search for a model that fits big people? Most of these 150s sit in a relatively short frame, and usually used for a 50cc scoot also. What I really want to avoid is a long stretched-out scoot....like many of the 250 Chinese models. To me a scooter is a physically short, relatively light machine with 10-12" wheels, designed for shorter trips around town. That's a personal opinion though..... Oh.....what's your shoe size? I doubt my size 13s would fit in that space.

@ Bluefront: glad you liked my photos! Only cell phone pics so I'm surprised they came out so good BTW, I'm not huge by any means (6'0" 200lbs) but it's worked great for me. Tops out at about 45 MPH.

Oh.....what's your shoe size? I doubt my size 13s would fit in that space. Those are 13's so you would be ok on that but not a lot of alternate positions for your feet.

I got to ride around on a Roketa 150cc (MC-75-150) the other day.... It looks to be sitting on the same larger frame as the 50cc Motofino in the first post of this thread. It has 13" wheels, and dual rear shocks. I fit in it very well. Notice it has no front blinkers with an external housing. Handling at slower speeds with those bigger wheels was not as quick as my 50s with 10" wheels (of course).....but ok. Anyway....if you can find a 50cc scoot with the larger frame and wheels, chances are it will fit a big person, and much better than most scoots with 10" wheels.

I'm about 6'4" 280-300 and drive An e-ton beamer II 50cc with no problems. It goes about 35 easily, wich is plenty for what I use it for.

This search is getting tiring.....today I road my scoot all the way to Maplewood Scooter Company. This is a big scooter store, with a bunch of brands....check out their list of scoots. I must have sat on 30 different models. I really only fit good on a single Motofino model...... the same scoot from the first post in this thread. There were some 150cc Motofino models that had a similar fit. Today I got to talk to the owner of the place......seems to be an honest guy. He knew about this particular model......and liked it except for one thing. It is a heavy-weight 50cc scoot, and is much slower than most/all the smaller 50s. I believe him on this account....this is a big scoot. That's why I fit on it so well. Still looking.....

Here's one I thought I would fit on.....mostly because of the motorcycle handlebars. Wrong. In the normal riding position my knees were against the bars.....could barely turn. This type scooter can be seen in various forms. I think the ADLY Bulls-eye is built somewhat like this. Genuine Rattler

I'm surprised no-one has suggested the Yamaha C3. I'm 6' 3", 240lb, and very comfortable on mine. It's not built on a particularly big frame, but the broad, flat seat and and the high-rise handlebars leave lots of room for a tall guy's knees, especially if you rotate the bars forward a little. Here's a link to a picture of me on it, to illustrate the leg clearance: s770.photobucket.com/albums/xx350/steve_rolfeca/?action=view¤t=SteveonC3.jpgAnother plus is the good midrange torque of the fuel-injected 4-stroke. It doesn't have the top-end snap of a 2-stroke, but it pulls hills better than a stock Zuma. Interestingly, none of the other Yamaha scooters fit me, including the new Zuma 125. Most of the guys on the C3 forum are big- it's a popular scoot with the oversize crowd. It needs a heavier shock and and a fork oil change to be comfortable on rough roads, but OKO makes a good shock that's only about $70. I don't think you'll find one at the $900-1,000 mark, though. Clean used C3's generally seem to go about $1,400. It's a great scooter. Made in Taiwan, good plastic, 45mph GPS with a set of 4 gr Dr Pulley sliders, and most folks get between 110 and 120 mpg...

^^^^^I haven't seen any of that model around here......but the leg clearance in that photo is amazing. Looks like a combination of a very low seat height, along with tall handlebars do the trick. Frankly however.....I'm not looking for a 50cc with water cooling or fuel injection. That seems a little over-kill for a small scoot.....IMO. Thanks for the input.

I started a different thread about the Motorino Wasp. More photos and info here. This one looks to be a good fit for big/tall people....even has an extended floor-board. Now if it had dual rear shocks and different tires, I'd say it's almost perfect. Vespa is wasp in Italian.

Another no-go......I got to sit on a TNG LS49-QT2 yesterday. This happens to be a 125cc, but the same scoot also came with a 49cc engine. And while it looks like a possibility from the photo, it felt like the smallest scooter I've tried out so far. No way I could ride the thing. According to a local expert......"It is identical to the Vento Zip, Keeway Hurricane and Strada RX50". So cross a few more off the list.....
