Some of the restaurants in town smell pretty good when I ride by. For natural smells on back roads anything remotely pleasant is good... I live around a lot of farms with chickens, cows, hogs, etc... so I'm happy whenever I'm not smelling those lovely aromas lol.

There's a Bakery on my commute. When I ride home they always seem to be baking cookies or brownies or something.

Just started using my scoot for my commute the last few week days. (Got my license and registration last Tuesday.) Most of my ride is on Old Route 66 through Gallup, NM and parallels I-40 and a railroad tracks. Temperatures dropped sharply the last few days. The mornings have been filled with the smell of burning pinon wood (like incense I swear), passing Glenn's Bakery, diesel locomotives (seriously guys I think your running a little rich, lol), and the occasional cager in need of a tune up. Wakes you up better 'n coffee. Of course I need the coffee after I get to school (I'm a teacher) after freezing my butt of on the scooter. But a cold morning ride does make you feel alive. ;D

Hands down, the smell of oak burning in the fall and winter...whether it be outside in a pit, or someones chimney. Also the smell of fresh mowed grass and fresh sage.

I love the smell of a gas station as I pass by without having to fill up with $65 of gas. It just turns my Scottish heart into a happy heart, and puts a smile on my face.
