Hey guys, sorry I have not been on much, the strada build has stopped for the moment and it's been working out fine for cruising around. I have noticed the exhaust getting louder so thats going to need attention next. The shorty pipe rocks!, but it does not seem to last all that long.
Anyway I am in the middle of a move to my new house and I am switching cable providers so some of the pics may go down in this thread but no worries I have them backed up so I may have to repost them all, we shall see.

Darn, well I finally got settled into the new house, got internet hooked up (had to bury a new line) and got my linux webserver up, but for some reason the strada pics did not backup correctly from comcast. I hate comcast!!! Anyway, I am seeing if I can find the originals since this thread is not that great without the pics. Sorry, have been gone awhile, been spending all my free time working on the new house, the scoot is in storage over at my dads place right now. It's been a month since I rode it last Gotta go pick it up soon Also: The cooler weather is coming... My garage is twice as large now... I have acquired more tubular aluminum...

Hey strada, Ill be working on the same bike, but going to redesign / fabricate a new exhaust, the shorty pipe finally broke a weld at the flange seam and I don't want to run it like that long to avoid breaking the exhaust valve. Good news is I picked it up yesterday!! It's chillin in my garage now and the thought process has already begun. I think I am going to tear it down to the frame again, and do some more extreme chassis mods, strip it down again, reweld some areas, add more support bars, pegs and lighting mounts. You never know what is in store for the rocket untill the foot deep snow hits As soon as I get the DNS figured out I will have my pics back up. -Joe

That's a damn good question. You don't wanna read this, but you might have to go through & splice the connections wire-by-wire, unless there is an adapter kit available now. It's become a fairly common conversion, so it just might be a matter of going onto google, & finding one. Did you get the stock-looking short case or you doing a long case streched job?
