I saw a thread, were a scoot dawg had his idle set all the way and bike would still stall out. Well its summer in south ga. and my bike did the same thing. I gues with fan running engine was being sucked dry trying to keep fan running. What to do? I decided to replace idle screw with longer screw and it worked. I took out screw and messured it was a metric 4x7x20 and replaced with a 4/7x30 and adjusted as needed. Problem for now solved. May have to re-adjust when temp cools, or maybee not. Solution cost 20cents, might be worth a try! I wonder if cheap china metal screw warped and bent? Oh well, it worked for me, I have a few x screws left (dad always told me not to buy just one nut or bolt, if loose u'll have to redrive to store to buy another, and u're gas and time is worth more than that. Glad I learned lesson because 1 attemp lost screw somewhere in motor and I wasn't looking for it. Some would say adjust valves, I say start cheap and easy and go from there!

Depending on your engine, valve adjustment may be easier than you think.
My CFMoto 244cc engine takes me 5 minutes to adjust the valves while engine is at operating temperature, with one single tool, without removing any body pannels.

I second the valves, after having going through exactly the same thing you did-stalling, etc. I also found out the valves had never been adjusted correctly to start with, and gained about 20% more acceleration over original. Worth a thought!

I'll throw in a third agreement of doing the valve adjustment. All you have to do is take off the body panels, remove the valve cover, rotate engine to TDC(info is on this site), adjust valves, and then put it back together.
Literally a 45 minute job altogether for the first time. Considerably less the next time.
