HI -- I bought a Lance Duke Touring 150 from extremescooters.biz on June 1. After a week of "waiting for tracking" status I emailed them. Chad replied with a few hours and the status changed to "shipped" with a 9 digit UPS Freight #. Checked yesterday with them on the status since UPS has no info (they still don't today) and Chad replied with this email: This went UPS Freight. www.ups.comIf tracking doesn't show yet, it's because they are printing labels before shipping scooters so they are ready to go as we get caught up. Thanks, Chad Does this seem normal? I seem to think that I am just a victim of the scooter frenzy and just have to be patient. Just hoping I'm not getting the run around. Thanks for any insight.

Hi cook, I waited a week, then emailed Chad about my scooter shipping. He said they had some trouble getting tracking numbers from the warehouse. My scooter was shipped a few days later, and I got the tracking number. The number doesen't work for a few hours on ups website. Just wait a few days I know you're anxious. My scooter arrived in Wareham, MA, today, Cape Cod Express called me to schedule delivery Monday, a day early. I'm pleased as long as it isn't damaged. Here's hoping. Jeff

My scooter was shipped by Scootertronics via UPS freight. UPS owns LTL trucking now after a merger. so the website is www.ltl.upsfreight.com. But once it is delivered for shipping UPS should send you an update that they have received it and updates about where it is while enroute. I got emails from the "carrier gateway" with my bill of lading number listing where it was and expected delivery date. If anything if they dropped it off they should be able to provide the bill of lading number as scootertronics did for me. Good luck

I may be wrong, but I believe UPS freight is just contractors, getting shipments through UPS. Mine is being delivered locally by Cape Cod Express, which is an independent company delivering UPS freight. LTL just stands for "Less than Truckload." I could be wrong this is just my understanding. I used to work for Land Air Express of New england and we did a lot of work for other companies like that. Jeff

I spoke at length to the driver. It was an LTL truck and he was wearing a brown UPS uniform. He was more curious about the scooter and stayed while I unwrapped it completely. He was saying that when UPS acquired LTL they made them switch to the brown uniforms and paid them the prevailing UPS rate. He wasn't sure he was any better off.

Thanks for the replies, guys. I knew I would have to be patient before I ordered the scooter, but now I just can't wait! I've been checking UPS about 80 times a day.

There have been times I have ordered something via UPS and it was delivered before the website was ever updated. This has happened more than once. The last time was with our big screen. But that came in a normal truck.

I learned something then. From what I've heard UPS is a good company to work for. My scooter is coming Monday and i'm psyched!!

I just checked UPS and it shows my scooter shipping from Fontana, CA last Friday and arriving in Seattle this Wednesday. So it took less than two weeks for it to get sent out, which I don't think is to bad considering how busy the dealers have been. So far, so good for extremescooters.biz/

My scoot arrived today, now just waiting for my MCO. Scooter arrived completely unharmed. Some little holes in the box, but no damage whatsoever. Already changed the fluids, and have been cruising around the neighborhood. I love it so far!! Jeff

Well I got the scoot up and running and I thought I'd summarize my experience with extremescooters.biz. I ordered on Sunday June 1 and the scooter was delivered by UPS on Wednesday June 18. I emailed them twice regarding shipping and Chad replied both times within hours. The scooter arrived in perfect condition except for one mirror was cracked. I emailed and Chad replied that he contacted Lance and a new one would be shipped under warranty from Lance. A few hours later he emailed me a claim number from Lance.
All in all I am very happy with the service I received and would recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a scooter.

I bit the bullet and ordered a Roketa MC-04 from extremeschoters. I had several questions and Chad responded to my e-mails within hours. I hear scooters are flying out the door so I'll see how long it takes for delivery.
