Well I finally got shipping confirmation today. I think I placed the order on the 21st of last month and its been a scary ride, but it looks like my scoot has shipped.
I thank Sam and Wendy for the scrounging they've done and for the extra sum-sum we worked out for an upgrade to a 250 at a nice price (hope it's ok to mention that).
Can't wait to report receipt and condition, which I know as drop shippers they can't really ensure. Now I'm just hoping everything is as we discussed and without damage.
Anyway, thanks to MTS. I understand that the market is nuts right now, but they hung with me to get one out.

hey dingo if you don't mind me asking I also ordered from mts last month and have not recieved item ( lance duke 250). I was wondering if you happen recieved yours yet. They told me last week the shipment should arrive on the 12th and than goes through inspection and should be shipped from Lance powersports (scooter factory). I was thinking of contacting them for confirmation but I am trying to give MTS a chance. But over 20 days waiting patients is starting to run out.

Ok, great news. I got the scoot today and it's the one they promised. No damage, no problems. Yes it took a while, but I think that's just what's going on right now with the high demand.
So all in all, a GOOD experience, no regrets, and a thumbs up to MTS.
To rherald 2, yes it took me nearly a month, but again I don't think any dealer at their prices (drop shipper) could have done any better. Hopefully the importers will step up shipping, but at the great prices MTS has, they're hard to beat, even if it means a little wait. Hang in there and they'll get it to you.

I got call yesterday from ups to schedule drop off, so that is great news. I will have to say maybe it took a little longer than plan but at the time I ordered they where already waiting for another full shipment ( I believe, thats why mts said any color you want you'll get) plus think about everybody with tax rebates, tax returns and of course gas prices sales are booming for the two wheel world. But that is just my opinion. I will post about item when recieve and also add post to the good a bad section cause MTS will inform you with more detail than expected when you have question. I will do business with them again because of that. I don't feel at all the wait is there fault just demand is high.

I ordered a Roadster 250 (YY250T, MP250RO, MC54-250) Reflex clone from MTS on June 6th. The model I ordered was dropped from the website 2 days ago. What happens now? I have a blog going at mp250ro.blogspot.com, but I will post my dealings with MTS here also.

if MTS is still selling Lance scoots must mean they have poured the foundation for their new brick and mortar store........

After a big mix up, which was no fault of MTS, I received my scooter in less than a week to NJ from Cali. MTS actually paid an outside shipping company to get the scooter here that quick in order for me to take my road test the following day. I have and will recommend them as an online dealer considering they are accessible by phone and return phone calls.

I got a call from Wendy Monday, saying she could get the Roadster I ordered, but it would be $200 more, as their cost was $300 higher than last month. she tried to steer me towards another scooter, but we just didn't like it, so I wanted to think about it. She also mentioned a few of the Roadsters have had problems, and she didn't particularly like the way the distributor did business, etc. She called back Wed, wanting to know if we wanted the alternate, and I said "No, we really wanted the Reflex-clone type". She said she would call the NST distributor, and get back to me. Fifteen minutes later she says we can have a YY250T for the original price. The catch is that they won't be here until July 7th. All in all, I'd have to say she really tries hard to get things done. I'd like it to be faster, but it seems to be the same everywhere. We'll see what happens. Our blog: mp250scooter.blogspot.com/

Just a chime in.........Thanks for your business, and as we open our first store, we will continue to service our internet customers with the knowledge and experience that we have gained in the last 4 years. We hope that anyone with problems will please call us. We do receive MANY calls at this time of year, so PLEASE leave a message, and Also Email us so that we can take care of your issue. After we talk.....Please don't be passive. Call and Email WEEKLY until your issue is resolved. We would rather know that you are still waiting and give you an update than have you at home "simmering." Many times we submit issues to our suppliers along with parts requests. Once we do that We expect, as you do, that the supplier is working to resolve the issue. If you sit at home for a month waiting for a part and then call us.......we call the supplier or email him again. Like anybody in this business.....we are VERY busy this year. So Many times even the suppliers make mistakes and people get lost in the shuffle. Normally when we send a request it is taken care of by the suppleirs without need of follow up. So when a customer is sitting at home not calling on a regular basis or Emailing........we ASSUME that all is well with the world.........Help us to Help You....... ;D Supplies are low, and we are all Striving to aquire and secure product for our customers. We hope that we can always help out, so please understand that we are trying to. Thanks for your support, and your constructive input.

Your post wouldn't make me feel any better if I were a customer, knowing you are out of the loop. -Rich

Well after much debate I also went with MTS and purchased a 150cc Lance Duke Touring Deluxe today. I spoke with Wendy whom seemed very nice and totally honest. She informed me that it would be at least 3 weeks before they would even have it in to inspect and asked if I still wanted to place my order. After reading the boards I had already anticipated a long wait but I thanked her for being upfront. It's better to know before hand what to expect. someone else must have expected walmart style shipping because I could hear the Sam getting flustered in the background. WAKE UP people your not ordering a scooter from walmart.(although for two people they certainly are busy like walmart) It most likely will be a few weeks before you get anything.
