So I briefly stated how I felt about www.euromopeds.com on the original thread here: scootdawg.proboards59.com/index.cgi?board=questionable&action=display&thread=8616
I can't even really begin to sum up how awesome Heather is. But I'll try.
I sent out a few requests to multiple Lance dealers, asking if they'd be willing to offer me a discount for the purchase of 2 scoots. I sent it on a Saturday, thinking that I would probably start getting responses later on Monday. To my surprise I got an email from Heather just a few hours later. Naturally I had more questions, so I messaged her back, and continued to get responses from her all through the evening. Very nice. Little did I know at this point, but my scooter purchase plan was gonna be peppered with challenges.
First things first. I dont have $3500 just sitting around ready to be spent on scooters. I dont have a credit card with that type of limit on it either. I'm broke. I don't have great credit. Thats why I want scooters ya know? Save on gas and insurance. My plan was to get a loan, deposit the loan check in my account and just purchase the scoots with my checkcard. Simple right?
Well I managed to get approved for about $3050 (the price it would be for a Lance Venice and a Lance Milan). Sweet. One problem. It was memorial day weekend, and I found out that Lance prices were about to increase. Disappointed, I fired off another email to Heather. Imagine my suprise when she responded back that she'd honor the prices at what they were currently advertised at. Did I mention this was Memorial Day Weekend? I got the reponse back from her just a few hours after I sent it.
Problem 2. And this one is a biggie. Let me start by asking a simple question. Do you think you can get financing for a drop shipped scooter? Pretty impossible seeing as how the scoots are in a warehouse, theres no title ready, and the dealer is basically only an online domain. Well, I managed to get it anyway. All thanks to some amazing work from Heather. We first ran into the problem when I talked to the guy at the bank, and he said that they needed VINs and Titles for the lein. I tried very hard to explain how these crate scoots work, but its a bank... they dont want to hear it. I gave them Heather's phone number, and he said he'd call to see if he could work something out. I phoned Heather too (got her on the 3rd ring) and explained. She was confident they'd work soemthing out. Imagine my surprise when my guy at the bank told me it was a go, and explained how the registration was gonna work. Heather called me too (this is the same day) to fill me in as well. Within days I had the VIN for my scooter (for insuring purposes), and Heather informed me right of the bat that Lance was awaiting stock on the other scooter (Pink Venice for my Fiance). It took a couple days to get that scooter back in, but every day I got emails from Heather telling me whats up. She told me when shippment was supposed to arrive, and she was right. I never really worried or felt impatient. I knew Heather was on it.
She told me earlier this week that the order was about to be put on the truck and that she'd notify me as soon as possible. She was right, and of course gave me accurate shipping info on Friday. Checked the number, its on the truck (UPS) and is supposed to arrive on the 12th.
Honestly, I'm not worried at all about the delivery, or after sale service. Heather is just plain amazing. I'll keep everyone posted.
