Hello,
I'm neutral in my view of ATV Discounters and i just wanted to state the facts. I called to order the MC-54 and was told the VOG 260 was the only type scoot available. Its nice, i got a deal on the price $1888. Doug told me the receipt would list MC-54 due to the new VOG not being in the system. I received the scoot damage free in the stated delivery time. I received a title 30 days after the bike was delivered. I had to GIVE them the Vin# so you MUST call them to get the ball rolling. The title was incorrect and it listed the Roketa and an engine size of 49cc. I have used their website to give them the correct information in hopes they will send out a correct title.
I would keep calling on the status of your title, as my status changed many times, it was not sent out when the representative said it would be. I insisted that their 30 day warranty start upon receipt of a title by me and they agreed.
There is my 2 cents, everyone please realize that we pass on some of the customer service for the money savings.
Matt

Having bought from both reputable and fly-by-night drop shippers in the past, I would never again take a chance on a place with so much bad press, not only here but on other forums. It just isn't worth a little savings to me! Some folks have come out OK but there are just way too many horror stories related to the ATVD buying experience.

Why should anyone pass on customer service? I work for a company that prides itself in providing the best customer service while providing an excellent product at competitive prices.
Here's why ATVD needs to provide better customer service. They are in a business where volume rules. If they provide better service their volume increases. It's not about just getting the product out the door but getting it out the door to the customers' satisfaction. It only takes a few bad deals to lose more and more customers and it's even tougher to get those same customers back. The market has provided ATVD a prime opportunity to significantly increase their business and they are squandering that opportunity by providing bad service. Imagine what their business would be like if they provided both the money savings AND great customer service. They would have customers lining up around the block.

I agree with you all, only my reason was not the cash! they were at that time the only people that claimed they had the Vog 260 in stock! They swore to this many times over and i do have emails stating this.
I thought it was strange that they were the only ones, this is why i wanted something in writing.
So..... not always is it the money, sometimes its what you want and when you (think) you can get it.
Now the hardest part is getting the firm answer and then trying to cancel and getting the money back in time to order through someone else. I would have liked to be scootin by July, not lookin good for that now.
Oh, and had to buy wife flowers just to keep her calmed down about the whole thing. Phew, every day is a journey, just this time i wish i would have done a u turn!

geo, you didn't say in your OP exactly WHEN you placed this miraculous order with ATVD. I tried to place an order with these clowns for over 4 WEEKS and got nowhere! How you even managed to get an order through their voodoo nonsense is beyond me.
