I've been watching this forum for some time now. Decided to wait until my 08 Ronnoco 250 was delivered.
Well that day came yesterday, and thanks to ScootDawg Forum and all the great member replies on situations I had to refuse delivery. The scooter brace that holds scooter up on handle bar had come loose and scooter was laying on its side in the carton. Hard scratches to fairing and wheel. The driver said he was proud of me for refusing, he had delivered 8 scooters in last week and people were so excited that they blinked off a scratch or 2 saying company would send them parts to fix it. HA
"FIX IT!!, its a brand new machine. I personally think I should be able to drive it 1 mile to the end of my road and back before I know of anything that has to be fixed."
Called company today and called and called, finally at about 11:30 got through and explained situation. Told them that due to the fact that they had shut down ther web page and they were so hard to get in contact with I would like for them to honor there deleted web page and just credit my account and we would be done. WEb Page stated if for any reason not satisfied they would gladly refund money if still in crate and shipped back the way it came. She said she would have to talk to manager and see what to do. Put the manager on the line I would like to talk to him. He's busy, he's on another line, I'll talk to him and call you back. Oh really, I left you 3 messages last night and you havent returned those calls yet. When can I expect to hear from you. I'm not sure. Before the end of the day.
This company never communicated after I paid. I Would call before received with same experience as above, and would get runaround.
Finally before the end of the day today I got through again. I was told to send in the pictures I took of damaged scooter. Pictures? why would I want pictures of a busted up ronnoco 250 that I didnt do the bustin up to. I was told that they would check it out and get back with me in 2 days. That will be saturday, and guess what! They're not open on WEEKENDS! I'm not worried I'll just hit redial and when ther machine answers I'll key in 11 there already sick of me, they'll take care of this.
Today I went by signworld and had them make a sticker for my lifan 50cc. ----------- SCEW IT LETS RIDE!
