No surprise to me. Piss poor managment, along with renigging on warranty claims and not sending out the right bikes to begin with will do it everytime...

This "sale" or whatever it is ... I'm not too sure what to make of it. I do recall the people at ATVD mentioning computer glitches and moving being responsible for my delivery being late.
I did pay by credit card so I'm placing my trust that'll save my ass if they close shop and run, without giving me my merchandise first. God only knows how I'd get any replacement parts off them after delivery if needed.
what a pain in the a$$.

Don't think they are done, prices just went up though. Still waiting on my mso too. Hi TVH, They are in the process of moving nad I was running into a lot of dead ends with this same issue. To their credit I sent another e-mail today asking that somone at least acknowledge that they are getting them and within an hour I got a response from them. Hi All, Just an update I got an e-mail after the first one yesterday saying that my title was dropped in the mail yesterday afternoon. I believe that ATVDiscounter is suffering from growing pains.
On their behalf every time I have talked with somone there they have been pleasant nad helpful. The bike I got is better than the bike I bought. They look nearly idenitcal but the one I got has a top box and from what little I have been able to ride it it runs very nicely. Granted there were some PDI issues but what do you expect from an $800 150? My only issue with ATVDiscounter was the title and I can easily attirbute that to their moving. Please do not misunderstand me, I am not saying they are perfect, but they did what I had asked of them. They supplied me with a good 150cc scoot at a very reasonable price, they shipped me the parts that were damaged because the factory installed the throttle incorrectly and they have largely lived up to my expectations. There has also been some concerns by others about warrenty issues. If you have a problem wiht a warrenty issue regardless of the seller/manufactorer I suggest you do some research into the Grahm Rudman act. It is specifically written to protect consumer from fraudulant warrenties. I know folks who had issue with big bikes and when they started talking the G/R act the dealers made immediate concessions. Just a thought that might be helpful to some.
In the peace of the LORD, preachp

Preachp, you make a good point about the growing pains. I see the same names in everyones posts regarding who they dealt with over there. Doug told me he is there over 16hrs a day. I really believe these folks are working hard, and long hrs to keep up. I am in business for myself and can relate. Sounds like eventually all kinks get ironed out. Seems like this is the nature of online chinese scooter sales especially when the demand is crazy.
I will do business with them again.

sorry but you know what helps with growing pains? Hiring more people. Come on you could get a high school kid to sell those things for a little above min wage. I was also told my MSO was sent but when i asked for a tracking number she said she'd call back, and no she never did. I wouldn't go thinking they're all that nice until you have your MSO in hand.

Exactly! I was just gonna say growing pains my shiny white keester. ATVD is NOT some company that just opened 6 months ago, they've been in business many years, they should know by now how to handle busy times, there's no excuse. Granted, they're getting slammed this year because of the high gas prices and etc. but you know what? So is everyone else and other vendors are handling their business in a professional manner, only difference is the lead times have increased, and these other dealers are upfront about it.

I had a hard time just getting someone on the phone. It kept going to a voice mail box that was full. One time someone did pick up the phone and all I heard was "this thing is lighting up like a damn christmas tree!!!" *click*, and they hung up. Not very professional. When I finally got someone on the phone, I asked about a particular scooter on their website and was all ready to order. However, as I inquired more deeply I got the guy to admit that they were selling me a different scooter that's "exactlty the same but from a different source". I did some research on it and found it to be a brand that was NOT of the same quality at all. So they tried to pull the old bait and switch on me! I was done with them.

All good points, I hope they improve on customer service. Like someone else wrote, they could be #1 if they did that.
