Does anybody know a good combination of a 70cc big bore kit and an exhaust that would match up with it?

I used the MRP big bore and MRP exhaust. It's certainly not a race kit like some of the Polini stuff, but it is way faster than stock. Minarelli kits are made for 10 and 12mm wrist pins, you will need to know which yours is. If you have a 12mm, I would recommend getting a Wiseco wrist pin bearing. I was told by someone with a lot of experience that the wristpin bearings were a weak point. If you want it the Wiseco part # for 12mm is B1043. I used my stock carb, mines 17.5mm, if yours is smaller you may not be able to. No rejetting if you keep the stock air box. You can go with an aftermarket air filter and then upjet, but the improvements are said to be minimal. It's been as reliable as stock, but about 10mph faster cruise speed. You may also want to consider some red clutch springs and either red or blue main spring. The blue spring would let me keep my full top speed, and the red spring would lose a couple mph but take off faster... both are way better than stock for take-off. While you are in there, pick up an Iridium plug. My scoot had problems with starting when it was 50 degrees or below for some reason, stock or after mods, the iridium plug made it fire right up hot or cold.

I'm not too sure about that. I got lucky and in Vento scooters certain years will have differnt sizes. Contact a seller and ask if no one here can tell you. I know one seller suggested I pull it apart and measure, but I spoke with Bart at extreme2strokes and he got me straight on the years of Vento's with each size. His business is gone now though.

2005 and newer use the 12mm pin. 2004 and older used a 10mm pin An upgear will give a lower cruise RPM and a little more on top speed, but your takeoff will be similar to that of when it was stock.
