Howdy gang. Glad to have found ya! Now, down to the nitty gritty. I purchases a new Chinese Coolster F5, 2005 model last week. It seems to run fine, but if I stop mid trip, (like today on my way into work I stopped at a mini mart), was inside maybe 5 minutes, and came back out the dang thing wouldn't start. It was turning over, but seemed like it wasn't getting fuel. I filled up the tank last night, but the gauge didn't register full. I hit a couple of bumps, on the ride in and it registered up to 1/4. Needless to say, I started to push her along. Called my boss to let him know I'd be late, they came and got me. They couldn't get it started either, it has good spark,....loaded it up into the truck, got to work, when the off loaded it, they bounced the front tire a bit...the fuel gauge registered full, & it then started.. Could this be a petcock issue? Should I carry a can of starting fluid with me? Or just not make any stops where I plan on not staying???

sounds like you should at the very least change your fuel lines and fuel filter to good american ones. if its a one time thing it may also be a fluke. i would wait till it happened again and then you know you have an issue as opposed to a one time thing.

At first it sounded like a vapor lock, but then after the wheel bounce, sounds more like a loose wire. Have you done the PDI yet?
