We have one. It seems to be of decent quality. One thing to note would be that the helmet we have seems to be made for someone with a larger cranium area, and a smaller jaw section, than either me or my mom have. But every person is different, so it may fit you perfectly.

Aero - Thanks for replying, I was about to give up and have this deleted. The helmet should fit snugly, yes? With no wobble room? and no space between cheek and pad and temple and pad. Some say it should feel almost too snug at first? Does that sound right to you?The one I got seems just a little too big. I measured head numerous times and tried on various helmets. I think I know what you mean by made for a larger cranium. It shifts a bit when I turn my head a little fast. Maybe I should have gotten Small when I got Medium? I'm thinking of going down one size. Any thoughts on this?

It should feel very snug. With it on, try pulling up on the lower front part (jawline/chin). It should NOT slide off the top of your head. If it does, it's just going to come off in an accident and won't be able to do it's job. That's what makes it hard with buying one off the internet. Every company uses a different standard/model to build their helmets.
Really should go to a motorcycle shop and try different ones on. Most shops will make sure you have the proper fit. You can always make note of the brand, model, size that fit best in the store and then price shop online. Of course might be better to get to know your local motorcycle shop too, never know when you might need their help with something.
There's a couple of articles out on the 'net which can better explain how to properly fit the helmet. I'll see if I can find the link(s)

Hey Zoot - I saw one of the links you had posted on a previous thread (led to Scorpion... something) and it was really helpful. It's what got all these questions going. So very snug is the answer. (snug with no pain) No wobble at all, helmet and head should move as one. Thanks. And I think I learned my lesson about buying such important gear as a helmet, whose sizes can vary from maker to maker, from the internet.
PS - How are you liking your Vintage? I was sorry to hear about the bad luck you had with the seat. Were you able to resolve it? I'll have to read through that thread again. I appreciate all your guys help. Thanks again.

As ZSR and ty have said, a helmet should fit snug to work it's best. I won't say that a non fitting helmet is completely useless, it is definately better than nothing and has to offer atleast a small degree of protection, but not much. A snug fit is the best. I ordered mine online and got lucky, it feels as if HJC was made for ME. I would get another one (return this one if possible) that fits snug, not squish-your-brains tight, but it definately should NOT move around.

I just took the MSF course wearing an EXL helmet, so I wore it a lot. It is a 3/4 face SNELL version. Felt comfortable. I am happy with it.

It practically spins around my 22" head and I can see my chin beneath the chin bar when I look in the mirror.

Interesting. I have the EXL 708 modular, size Large, and it fits perfectly. While it's comfortable and I can't complain much, it does seem a bit on the heavy side though.

Exaclty as I was saying!!! Everyone's fit is a bit different, otherwise stuff like this would be really easy (and boring, lol). I have a large neck area (more of a neck-head than a neck and a head ;D ) so this helmet didn't fit right for me, you probably have a larger cranium (proportional to neck) so this helmet will fit you better! Conclusion drawn, 'nuff said! ;D

Helmet is OK but used only as backup to my Nolan. It is a little tight around chin area otherwise still comfortable. For an inexpensive helmet, I give it 7-1/2 stars out of 10, the Nolan is 9. Both are modular.
