That's right--another lurker-turned-forum member.
Just wanted to say "hi" and give a shout out to the several other Kentuckians I've seen here. Glad to know I'm in good company!
Got bit by the scooter bug about a month or so ago and found this board to be a great source of info. Big thanks to everyone for posting straight info on here rather than the mindless China scoot flamefests that are so prevalent elsewhere. It is much appreciated!
I look forward to discussing things with everyone here. Hopefully I'll be able to learn, and maybe have a few things I can help other people out with too.

Hey, another Kain Tuck Territory soul in our midst. Are you scootin' yet or still thinking about it? I'm very new but the flippin big oil powers that be and their Enron-ing of the entire country have me very happy and proud to be a scootering dude. Welcome to the dawg pound from another bourbon and race horse state guy. ;D

**High fives Kaintuckdave** Still plotting and planning how best to stick it to the man without getting stuck myself. I've got a thread up over on the general forum ("Calling all dawgs...") if you'd care to check it out.

Where are you folks from in KY? My grandparents retired and lived near KY dam. Grandad died and grandma moved back here 20 years ago. I used to live on the water down there! Grandad had a commercial fishermans license, he sold his catch!

I'm in central KY, about a half hour south of Lexington by 1-75. Glad to hear from you, ashdump. I was raised on a riverbank myself, although I'm sure you're probably referring to one of our gorgeous lakes. Nothing like it!
FYI, checked out your link and I'll have you know I am 100% behind your cause.

I'd live there if I could get my bride away from her momma ;D IMO, there is nothing quite like the Tennesee river and it's chain of lakes. Thank goodness the TVA came about before all of this tree hugging crap, or we'd have none of those beautiful lakes! Illinois would not be a bad state were it not for the retarted politicians we have. Kind of boring scenery though, corn, beans, corn, beans, etc. etc. etc. BTW, thanks for checking out our website! We will join the rest of the free nation some day. People are starting to wake up and get pi$$ed about things here.
