I'm really lookin hard at the SR50, a new one if I can swing it. Regarding the 2stroke oil, how about Amsoil Dominator 2stoke Red Synthetic? It's what I used in my xpeed, and it never smoked, not even on a stone cold start. Also, where can I get that (now-ancient) gameboy to run the code reader/writer?

In my opinion there is nothing wrong with Amsoil Full Synthetic.... other than the high price. Those that I know that use it are very happy. I just listed the Agip because it's what Aprilia suggested on the SR50R Factories. Dealerships don't sell anything else these days in the US when it comes to the Aprilia Scoot in the SR50 models. As far as the game boy is considered You can get them on Ebay or any place. Has to be a Gameboy Color though. The cartridge is the price part You might be able to find one used somewhere. Some places sell them special like. www.scooterparts.dk/product.asp?product=1692&sub=109&page=1Unless your tuning more than one Aprilia often, it's not worth the price to get one just for your scoot. Any dealership will have them and can do the ECU de-restriction for a cheap price. Depending on your setup though, they need to stick to certain programs though. Stock ECU's are much different than aftermarket Malossi ECU's or a TC unit for that matter.

I thought this would be interesting for those looking at the difference a performance pipe brings.

An extra horse and a flatter curve. Sounds like the winner to me. Now I know what to ask for. Aren't 7s a bit heavy for a 50cc roller though? Most folks normally go with 4.75s or 4.5s for their 50s....

SR50 R Factories are a little different with their gearing and setup. They come stock with 11.2 g rollers in them from the factory. Anything below a 6.6 or 6.8 you start to lose too much.
