I got some black duct tape to match my plastic, removed the front cover, put the tape around the edge of the windshield where the front cover was in contact with the windshield, replaced front cover. Five minutes, $3.50, easy, squeaking is 100% gone! If this is a known tip, sorry I didn't see it, but I will say I am VERY pleased with the difference in the sound of my brand new scoot! Really doesn't look bad, either, most people would never notice it, especially with all the duct tape on the mirror to distract them! Broke the mirror putting the bike on my truck for the license test, new one is on order from Roketa ($18.00). Close-up-

Great news!!! I rode mine for the first time today and really do not like the squeeky windshield.
Also, the plastic cover that goes over the speedp/tach for whatever reason I can not get it to fit right - any suggestions on this?

You might try grinding the plastic down.
I replaced my windshield with a Cee Baileys three inches taller to get my face out of the wind,
and the plastic is thicker. I ground the cover for a better fit.
You can buy wheels that go on a drill or just sand it by hand.
