I found a K&N filter today that will fit the 257 cc motors or MC_54-250B Scooter. with no problems or mods. I took a 2" to 1 1/2" plastic pipe reducer and put the small end in the filter and the large end over the intake tube. Increased speed and RPM
Part Number on filter BD-3303 Don't know the cost yet my Son will let me know later, hope he pays for it !!!, you know, to help out Ole Dad

Yes, it was a good fit, and I also drilled 8, 3/8" holes in top of the air box

Filter update, I was getting water into my carb, only riding in the rain, and I noticed that my breather hose had water in it, so took off cover and found that the fitting on the intake tube was sucking some air and it was letting the water in through the intake tube, so I used some RTV and duct tape to secure the filer tighter to the tube, so far no problem riding in the rain, It has rain about evet day here for the last six days, not heavy just enough to make it wet ridding

Actually it's not waterproof with it but won't leak as much when it's oiled. Also without oil a K&N filter does nearly nothing about filtering the air. Might as well run without it. Hint: if the filter is a pale pink color it's pre-oiled. If it's white it's not oiled, K&N oil is red. Bill H.
