There is a huge selection of manufactures that support 2-strokes. After looking at the Baccio online, it seems to be a great setup for the price.

Yeah! I really like both of my '07's. The SR50R Factory is a fantastic scoot.
I also like Genuine. Looking at getting a rattler 110 this summer for an fun project.
From what I can tell the Baccio is pretty solid. They are a little more expensive than your generic scooters and seem to have a better customer rating as well. They have a good compression and power rating. I expect they would do very well. The question is, how easy is it to get parts for them. I just checked all of the European, and local online shops I deal with and nobody has an option for the Baccio Brand. They have a 12 month or 4,000mile limited warrenty. So behond that, it would be sketchy for repairs and availability.
What about a more stable brand like: Genuine Rattler 50's, Ruffhouse, Buddies They use PGO parts. Even Malossi has them in stock.
KYMCO Super 9's are great too. Parts everywhere.

Aprilia, did you have to make any adjustments to your scoots due to the altitude?

I had to play with certain spark plugs but that's about it. Everything else is controlled by the ECU, it has a pressure sensor built in. The custom ECU from Malossi is designed for my altitude to adjust both the air and fuel injector.

ECU is smarter than I thought.....thought the altitude might fool it...got to really lean it out...should run like a scared rabbit, doesn't it?........I am still a great believer in the 2 stroke design ....less maintenance and more HP....that is why I brought up Baccio...they produce 6 models of scoots...4 of the 6 are different 2 stroke models .....and the 4 are all unique from one another...oh, the other 2 Baccio's are 150cc 4 stroke versions
