Hello my name is Tom and I am From Green Bay, WI I recently purchased 2 new 2007 Rocketa Bali 250's from all new sports, Mine runs fine, unfortuantly my wifes (of course) does not, I am hoping some of you may have some things for me to check out, Her scooter took forever to start the first time, much much longer then mine, then after it started it would not rev up, if you slowly turned up the throttle to a rpm around 1700-2000 then you could rev it fine less then that it would bog, i took it for a ride it ran fine higher rpms, except for off idle it bogged then would sometimes die, now it wont start reliably unless I grind away at the starter and then when it starts if i touch the throttle at all it dies, checked for disconnected vacuum lines, it appears to be getting fuel at least the fuel filter is full of gas, any ideas come to mind??? thanks in advance tl

I'd ask on the 250 specific section.

Yo, the 250 forum is the place to go, but just a quick thought, it does sound like a fuel issue, I would eyeball the carb to see if things are hung up in there, and it could a fuel pump that is not getting the job done. THAT has been a frequent issue on the 'Reflex clone' type scooters... lots of info in existing threads on that problem... If you have a manifold diaphragm that has even the teeniest breech it can drive you nutz doing what yours is doing, just quick thoughts, I assume you have traced all the length of the fuel lines to check for kinks or splits or any other abnormal stuff... Almost forgot... WELCOME to the dawg pound!
