motorcycles-wholesale.ccomThe 250 Touring Deluxe motorcycles-wholesale.com/motor-scooters/250cc-touring-deluxeThey sell Roketa and Lifan. Since I did not find a review I am asking for feedback. Good pricing seems to be their strong point. Since I do my own work service is not an issue. They claim they have parts avalible. I have seen one post about them and it was mixed. I am going to buy on price, then review and report the good, bad and ugly about the scooter. Currently in the research stage on which Chinese scooter. There is another online dealer with even lower prices. Since I am on my home system I don't have that URL. Looks like the Roketa is using the Honda version motor with 10" wheel rear and 12" front.

Looks to me like another overly hyped, overly exaggerated hard sell job by another internet DROP-SHIPPER.
A 5 yr 50,000 mile warranty? Hmmmm....good luck on that one! I've dealt with Roketa/Goldenvale/Terminator a few times on warranty and parts issues and it was not pleasant (parts only warranty, mail the bad part back and we'll decide if it's defective, blah blah). While the parts situation has gotten a little better, they still have a long way to go and don't always have parts in stock. The story changes once they get your money.
Quote: "the motor and transmission are extremely reliable. I have mostly ridden Suzuki and Honda bikes in the past, and I truly consider the Roketa scooters to be of equal quality to the Suzuki and Honda bikes I have ridden in the past."
I totally disagree......Roketa is not even close to the quality of a Jap bike. While you may do ok with this Roketa, that is if you are very mechanical, you will get exactly what you pay for, and it won't be Japanese quality.

Quote "Roketa are one of the largest U.S. companies that imports bikes from China. There are many importers who just import whatever bikes they can get from China at the cheapest price, with very little interest in the quality of manufacture or components.
The 5 year / 50,000 miles warranty is a full replacement parts warranty against any defective parts, including engine and transmission. If there was any problem with your bike just email me right away, and we would send you whatever replacement parts were required to resolve it for you.
It is a replacement parts warranty and does not include labor. Most parts are easily fitted, but you can use a mechanic if you wish, but labor is not included in warranty.
The following items are not covered under warranty (except for shipping damage) unless at our discretion: Tires, rims, body panels, fuses, forks, shocks, gaskets, light bulbs, seats, oil filter, air filter, fuel filter, clutch wear parts, cables, drive belt, chain, spark plug, any part made from rubber, brake linings and/or pads, batteries, sprockets, external springs, clips, nuts, bolts, fasteners."
and again.......
There are many importers who just import whatever bikes they can get from China at the cheapest price, with very little interest in the quality of manufacture or components.
this sounds exactly like Roketa
