Just joined the fourm and looking at a Baja SC150. This scooter is at a local dealer in Oklahoma. This dealer Farm & Ranch store and not a regular scooter store. The scooter looks great but would like to know if anyone has one and there opinion. Thanks for any input.

Visit the service department of any "brand name" franchise and you will most likely see numerous vehicles with various deficiencies. The Baja scooters are probably no worse or better than most other China imports. For those with some mechanical aptitude, the carburated China engines are relatively easy to troubleshoot and repair (as compared to fuel injected), and replacement parts are cheap and available from numerous online vendors (Google 139QMB or 157QMJ). For those who are not comfortable servicing their own scooter, the justified additional expense of dealer support would be a better choice.

Thanks for all the replys. I have downloaded the manual. I am 64 yrs old retired machinist and plan on riding around town only. I have owned a Honda 90 (back in the '60s) a Honda 450 and a yamaha 500. I worked on all of them including my cars. Don't trust most to work on my stuff. The Baja is sold at Atwoods, these stores are located only in Oklahoma. (Bartlesville, Tulsa, Stillwater, etc.) I will check with pepboys in Tulsa and see if it is the same scoot.
Thanks Steve
