That's not me, just happened to find it.
Here's my experience though.
The Woodstock Tower is an old fire tower on top of a mountain.
It's at about 2000ft I believe.
I've scooted up there many times before and finally I took some pics.
I went past the tower itself.
I went to the tower on the way back but it was dark and I couldn't get any good pics even with really long exposure (plus I'm a bit scared of heights and couldn't see anything!).
At the base of the mountain, there's a bridge and this nice scene:
We then begin our ascent.
By the way, there are no guardrails. ;D Just adds to the fun.
My favorite pic:
Here you can see some of the seven river bends.
There's also a few houses if you look closely.
Long way down there.
But we make it down.
No, I didn't drive down that crazy slope!
The road wraps around.
Found a nice little stream:
Just scootin' along and I see 5 deer out in the field.
They were pretty far away so the image quality is pretty terrible.
This was actually from two different days.
The first day I was alone, the second I was with my sister.
It took much persuasion to get her up that mountain on the back of my scoot!
The second day we got to that stream and when we went to start the scoot and continue, it kept dying!
It was out of gas!
The gauge was at about a quarter but it was completely out.
So my gauge is off.
That really sucked.
Luckily there happened to be two guys camping about 30ft from where we were.
One of them loaded up the scoot and drove us to a station.
He told us he had walked from where we were back to town and it took him a full day!
I now plan on keeping a spare bit of gas under the seat.
I'll see what the peak temp under there is, just in case.
