Well, I guess I'll help get this started. A few of us showed up for the weekly Sunday ride in New Orleans. You couldn't have asked for a nicer day, though it was REAL windy heading over the bridge on the Interstate. Below is picture of where we met. It's CC's Coffee Shop on historic Esplanade Ave. From there, after a cup of New Orleans' Community Coffee and a little chattin' around the outdoor table, into the French Quarter we rode... I'm sorry I didn't have my camera in my pocket, because I missed a lot of good scenic shots... We headed out of the quarter and onto St. Charles ave. After a few miles we wound up at the NO Zoo, jumped up on the river road and took a break on the river in the park: Members are: (Left to right) Bnorthrop, Chas_In_NOLA, radacoolj, and Joe on the right. Anyway, Bill had to go meet his family in back in the city and Chas had some things to do, so I split off on the way back and caught the bridge home. We were originally going to take the Chef highway out to to a fort and back, but Bill is from Slidell, about an hour north on a scoot, and rides that way to and from the ride, so we changed plans. All in all it was about a two hour scoot around the city. The roads are very scenic, and I highly recommend some of you out-of-towners to make the trip; you'll like the rides... I'm going to make a camera stand for my scoot so I can take pics and video as we ride... that'll be this week's project. See Y'all! -Rich
