Sometime soon, as soon as I can afford to, I'm going to buy a costume, probably a gorilla suit. My point will be to ride all around and see how much attention people actually pay when driving. When I finally do this, I'll post some pics.

I have a better idea and you might may a few bucks off of it. 1)Make a sign to fit around your head that hangs on the front and back like a small sandwich board.
2)Pitch a few local businesses saying that you'll ride around in a gorilla suit with the sign and their name on it. I bet you'll get a few bites.
3)Buy or rent a gorilla suit and ride around with it.
4) Maybe get a free pizza or an oil change out it ?
It's called "roadvertising" and some places will pay you to do so.
Edited for this:
It's called "roadvertising" and some places will pay you to do so but you don't have to wear a gorilla suit.

Actually, here in New Orleans and in Atlanta there are "Scootertising" companies. They ride around all day in stop and go traffic pulling a small trailer with three sides covered in LCD panels. I can't find the link right now, but there was a couple of good YouTube vids on them...

I've seen something similar before, but what I seen was a cyclist riding around with a three-sided rotating sign. That wouldn't be a bad way to earn money.
