I don't own a scooter... yet... but when I was test driving a TNG Volare I accidentally figured out that if you just turn on both turn signals (without pressing the center cancel button) you get hazards *tada* might be something to try

It depends on the scooter brand and model and how old it is. Some don't have a hazard lights setup, but many do now.

4-way flashers are considered an accessory and are not on all scooters. There are no federal DOT regulations on lighting other than front and rear colors, however, it does not mean your state may not require them.
I would call the local DMV and ask if they're required, but I just checked the suggestion by jennymrose and it worked on my scooter as well... good tip!

On my new scoot, the button I would figure to be the kill switch (big & orange) is actually the emergency flashers. The kill switch is the small black one below it. It's like the wired them wrong, but it is right. Glad I noticed this when testing the kill switch.

None on my Lance Duke 250 but the wife and I got some pretty decent clip on/magentic emergency flashers from an internet dealer. They are pretty bright. Made as carry alongs for cars, bicycles, etc. We carry them in our storage boxes. I found several kinds on an internet search. Tom
