A reminder to all of us cold weather (33 degrees and under) commuters and some of you folks new to riding in cold weather.. Treat your face shield! First cold morning commute a couple of days ago. After five minutes of riding I *fogged up*. I had forgotten about putting anti-fog on my face shield. Ended up turning around, went home and put on my anti-fog gel that I had purchased from a local dive shop. There have been threads concerning this before, but I use Sea Gold anti-fog gel. If you can't find it locally try-www.snorkel-mart.com. Be safe.

I have a breath gaurd that does the trick for me (full-face helmet), if it gets much colder here (probably won't ) I will keep an eye on the fogging thing, and I will look into those anti-fog treatments you mentioned. Thanks for the heads up! Aero

I have found that one can take some hand bar soap (non abrasive), work up some water on some to get a soapy paste. Then smear the soapy paste onto your clean glasses or clean face sheild. Let it dry, then buff off the dried soap film with a soft clean cloth. Now it is fog proof, at least until you get caught in a rain storm, and the soap film gets washed off.

I am interested in the products made by Respro for anti-fogging and filtering out car emissions. www.respro.com/home.phpIf anyone uses any of these, let us know what you think.
