Hello!
My name is Rob. I live in Los Angeles. I pulled the trigger on a Lance Milan and am anxiously awaiting delivery. I decided to get rid of my honda element and get a scooter as having a car just doesnt make sense for me anymore. Im fairly adept on a motorcycle, but I havent ridden a scooter before. Im really exited I found this forum and will definitely stick around.
Thanks ScootDawg!

Welcome, always glad to meet new faces (I'm not a veteran yet myself). We have two Lances and love them. I am sure you will too. Znen makes a good bike for the money. I have read here about a lot of folks liking that new Milan. Keep the Dawgs posted . Ride safe and bless you, Tom

Thanks! My scooter arrived today! By the time I got it out of the box and out of the cage and all the plastic off it was too dark for pictures, but heres a couple of how it came. There are a couple spots were the steel frame rubbed against the scooter body and left some marks, but Im sure Ill be able to buff them out. More pics to come tomorrow.

robvious: Looks just like the shipping crates our Lances came in. See about those marks. You can always claim and get new parts under your warranty. Did you note the damage before the shipper left? That can speed things up. Get some pics up when you are road ready. Tom

Here she is... Im starting the fuel/vacuum hose replacements today. I didn't realize I would need to replace SO MANY! Theres gotta be 10 feet all together. Im searching the forum now for good suggestions for the break-in, and how to adjust the brakes. Everything seems good to go except the brakes... and the trunk. I took the took trunk off after a few trips around the block as it rattles too loud.

robvious: nice pics of the scoot. Info on break in methods can be found here using the search function. The rattle problem can be fixed with some foam rubber or weather stripping. Worked on the rattle on the trunk of my Lance 250. Tom

I'm very interested in getting a scooter. I just started looking on the internet tonight and I haven't gotten too far except for stumbling onto this forum. So I am just wondering if anyone has any tips on where to shop for one. I am wanting a 250cc for a reasonable price mainly for commuting to and from work with some Sunday riding thrown in here and there. Also I've heard you only need a standard California drivers license for anything 250cc and under, is that a fact? I'm a big guy so I will want a somewhat big scooter, I saw one called TANK that was decent and a Qlink that was also nice, it looked like a motorcycle and was automatic. Any info is appriciated thanks.
