Purchased new scooter - Bahan motor 150cc GY6 type (China). 300 miles on it so far Top Speed is 52 MPH is this normal or should go faster ? Other people I have meet have told me they go 60 - 65 MPH on different brands. Is there a motor limiter or some adjustment I can make ... dealer had no idea.

Yup, that's just about right. Most speedos are 5mph fast or so, so if your's is dead on like mine is, then it would seem slower than other peoples, but in reality it's probably the same. Also, there are an extremely small number of people who seem to out and out lie about their performance. I had one guy tell me that he had some outrageous top speed, GPS VERIFIED of like 75mph on a stock 125cc and could cruise the freeway all day at 68mph. Maybe he did maybe he didn't, I wasn't there, but either way, that is not normal. Most 125-150's will cruise at 45ish and top out a little over 50. I got lucky on mine as it topped out at 56 stock (scoot is no longer stock, see signature ;D ) but could still only cruise 45ish, even with the mods I've done, it will still only cruise at 50-55mph, but it gets there a little faster and feel a bit happier ;D . Your scoot is about right. Also, you will notice a few more MPH as the engine wears in more, nothing major, but maybe up to 55ish, don't quote me on that though Aero
