My Aprillia with ~1700 miles just decided to be difficult to start. It used to start right off every time. Now it is taking 2-5 tries before it will stay running when is first started cold. Could this be because of the cold weather (20-40F) or is something getting gummed up that needs to be cleaned? It still runs great once it is started. Any advice, experience, etc. is greatly appreciated.

The Aprilla is fuel injected right? I think this is a known issue with the injector, not sure where I saw that info though.
All I got.

Yes, it is fuel injected. I wonder if there is a problem with the injectors if it is covered under warranty.
Incidentally, now that the friged weather has left North Caroling, it seems to be starting right up again. Maybe the gear oil drags it down too much when it is 30 degrees.
Thanks for the note, I'll do some research to see if the Aprillias have had injector issues.

Aprilias I hear are rather cold-blooded. Do the dealerships offer a fuel injector cleaning service of any kind? If so it might be worth the investment I had a UM Xpeed 50cc 2stroke that started right up 1st try everytime on an 80* as well as an 8* day.
