I have just been given a 2004 Geely Venicia model JL50QT-21. The owner said the engine was locked up. The scooter only has 324 miles on the odometer and looks brand new. (Garage kept) I found the cylinder loaded up with oil, and the plug was fouled badly. I cleaned and blew out most of the oil in the cylinder and primed the engine through the carb, and was able to get it running. I would like to ask some questions of someone who owns this model scooter. I live in SE Georgia and unable to find anyone that know about Geely's.
Thanks!

The autolube systems leaked, almost all of them. Drain the oil tank and use premixed fuel. The oil pump only works when the rear wheel is turning, but oil usually keeps flowing when the scoot is parked. This is how your engine got locked up.

Thanks for that info, the carb was full of oil also. I mean completely full. It's clean now but the carb needs to be adjusted. Any idea on the two screws and what they do. Maybe a adjustment starting point. What you are saying is to mix the two cycle oil with my gasoline. If so what's the fomular.

Not sure about the ratio with the new oils. Check with some of the 2 stroke guys for that. 4 ounces per gallon should work, but it's been a long time since I messed with 2 stroke stuff.
